Chapter 2.1: Baby Crown Princess meets Athens

This day is special, not just for the royal family but also for the citizens of Athens. Everyone heard the rumor that the royal family is connected to the Greek God Zeus. They also heard the royal who was born is believed to be the Great-granddaughter of Zeus who inherited the power of Thunder and the power of Water from Poseidon, the god of water.

You can hear the opinions of the citizens about the newborn royal baby.

'She does look like the Great-granddaughter of Zeus.'

'You can see her beauty being like Goddess Aphrodite.'

'May Crown Princess Maia Iris live a wonderful life.'

'Her eyes are so magnificent that you can easily be hypnotized. She is so precious!'

Just like that, Crown Princess Maia Iris Dionysus won the hearts of the citizens of Athens. Just by hearing her name, you will agree that she looks like a goddess even though, she is still a baby.

On the other hand, while the Greek God and Goddesses in Olympus are worried about the prophecy while excited to meet the Crown Princess, another Greek God is currently watching the news about the newborn royal princess.

The God of the underworld, Hades, is currently observing the Crown Princess.

"She looks special. Her eye colors are too magnificent. I can feel her successful and powerful reign over the kingdom of Athens when she was crowned as the Empress."

He cannot help but mesmerize Crown Princess Maia's magnificent eyes. Hades felt like, this beautiful baby was hypnotizing him.

His curiosity grew as the news anchor finally started introducing the identity of the baby.

'What a memorable event had happened here, in the Kingdom of Athens, as everyone for the newborn royal baby in front of the palace. Emperor Heron and Empress Alexis named their daughter, Maia Iris Dionysus, putting their family name on the newly born crown princess' name.

It was believed that Crown Princess Maia Iris is the Great-granddaughter of Zeus but the Emperor and the Empress neither agree nor disagree about this rumor."

Hades starts to be interested in this rumor. But later thought that if Maia Iris, the Crown Princess of Athens, is the Great-granddaughter of Zeus, then, the royal family must use Zeus' name as their family's name. But that did not happen. His suspicion decreased after he thought about this.

He heard that Dionysus grants the emperor and the Empress his permission to use his name as their family's name if their daughter is going to use it too.

Hades smirks and grabs a glass of wine, thinking that Zeus is diverting his attention to someone useless. Not knowing that the person he called uselessly is indeed the Great-granddaughter of the God of Thunder.

He leaned back on his couch and said,

"You cannot fool me, Zeus. I am smarter than you think. This crown princess is not your Great-granddaughter." He takes a sip of his wine and continues watching, still interesting in the dual-colored eyes baby.

Not aware that someone is watching him, Zeus is sitting on his couch in his room and thought,

"What a dumb brother."

He found Hades funny and interesting as he is also watching the ceremony for her Great-granddaughter.

Zeus feels great that Hades does not have any suspicion about Maia Iris. Because Hades is suspicious of her relationship with the baby and quickly thinks that she is related to him, it is sad to say but, the royal family is going to be doomed because the baby will be in danger and the gods and goddesses have no other choice but to think of an idea to save them.

Zeus just hoped that the crown princess will live a normal life.
