Chapter 72

Years flew by super fast. Josephine and Kai got married, and they had a huge wedding ceremony, then they travelled abroad with Ice, unlike Taria who insisted on making it a small party as she refused to wear a white dress again. A new Leo came to the world, a girl with black wavy hair and brown shining yet evil eyes, Azora, which actually became her uncle's favorite child since the first day of her life.

Ray got buried with work and trainings as the crown prince of the family, Tian kept his role as the CEO of half of the family's business while Ve took care of everything else, Taria kept teaching at the school, meeting new students every year and forming unbreakable bonds, and so did Edrian, and finally, Steven became Ray's assistant and one and only friend after Tian trained him day and night.

"Uncle Ve, Ray is annoying me again", Azora said

"What did that brat do this time?" Ve asked, poking her nose softly

"He told me that I should die my hair brown", she said angrily, then Ray was forced to run for two hours while Azora and Ve were watching him, both sitting under the shade, wearing sunglasses and drinking coffee

"You father and this brat was disappointed as you looked like a Leo rather than your mother", Ve said

"Well I am disappointed in my genes myself, I wish I was more like my mother but it turned out the family's genes are unbreakable, however, I'm still so pretty. What happened back when I was born?"

On the day Taria gave birth to Azora, Tian and Ray looked at the baby with a disappointed look in their eyes

"a small version of my mother, ha?" Ray said

"She is… a Leo after all. Taria, would you like having another baby?" Tian said

"Shut up, brats. Look how adorable she is", Ve said after punching them both

"Wow, so that man hated me since the day I was born", Azora said

"That man is your father, Ora, and he doesn't hate you at all, you are his princess", Ve said

"Mom and dad love Ray more than me", she said while her tears started falling down

"I love you more than him, isn't that enough? Hey hey hey, why are you crying?" Ve said

"Just acting, don't worry", she said, sipping her coffee and having fun while watching her brother running under the son

"You are so evil, just like your uncle", Ve said, then Taria's voice cut the uncle-niece time.

"Why are you sitting here? go get ready now, Josephine and Kai are coming back in two hours, and why is Ray running?" Taria asked

"He annoyed me", Azora replied calmly

"He.. annoyed you! Ora you are already sixteen years old now, won't you stop telling Ve to punish your brother, look at him, he is already a grown up man yet you are punishing him", Taria said after sighing

"Nah, I like seeing him suffer", Azora said

"... Anyway, RAY, STOP RUNNING AND GO GET READY NOW. and you, would you get ready by yourself or should I ask Lessy to do it?" Taria said, then her daughter ran towards the house without saying a word

"Sigh. It's really hard taking care of a teenager daughter", Taria said after she sat down

"She is just different than Ray. He was mature since the start yet she is still walking on the road", Ve said

"Uncle, could you please stop doing that! My schedule is already busy, stop interrupting my day for that kid", Ray said coldly

"I know exactly what your schedule is like as I created it, and don't talk about your sister as if you are better than her", Ve said

"I am better than her", Ray said

"She is immune to 362 poisons while you were immune to 360 poisons at her age, and she is way better than you at shooting, you got 54 out of 60 at the test while she got 62 out of 60 as she shot the last one three times at the exact same spot, add to that the fact that she is not feelingless as you were", Ve said, sending spears towards Ray's heart as he couldn't deny any of those things.

Azora lived with her uncle from the start as she used to keep crying to stay with him instead of her parents, which gave him more time to train her and to recognize her weak and strong points. Her marks at school are good, she has many friends and she is famous at school just like any other Leo, and she has her mother's ability to control her feelings instead of not recognizing them like her brother and father. A perfect young lady of the family, and a perfect serial killer too.

Everyone went to the airport to meet Kai and Josephine after a long time. Taria was super excited as usual, while the Leos were calm and sharp, surrounded by a strong aura that forced everyone at the airport to stare at them with daze.

"JOSEPHINE / TARIA", they shouted, then they ran towards each other and hugged each other tightly

"Welcome back, Kai", Tian said with warm smile

"What is that smile for? Did you really miss me?" Kai said, stretching his hand for Tian to shake it.

"You must be Ice, hi, my name is Azora, and this is Ray", Azora said with a bright smile, yet Ice kept a sharp look in his eyes and said "I know who you are, young lady"

"Yo.. young lady! Are you living in the previous century or something? Man, I said that my name is Azora, so call me by my name or shut up", Azora said, crossing her arms and feeling mad for an unknown reason

"It's a tradition that the assistant can't call the master by their name unless the master allowed it, yet she just did so you can call her Azora from now on", Ray said calmly

"What????? Is he my assistant? why didn't you tell me before?", Azora said

"I was going to do that but I had to run during my brake so I had no time", Ray said

After that, everyone went to the mansion again, and they all were having lunch together when Azora stood and said "I don't want an assistant"

"Why?" Ve said

"I'm sorry, aunt Josephine and uncle Kai, and Ice too. The problem is that I hate being watched or tied with anyone else, and having Ice as my assistant would force us to keep in touch with each other all the time. I don't want to do that, and I also don't want Ice to become tied with me", Azora said

"Ohhhhhh my daughter is so kind and thoughtful", Taria said, forcing Ray, Tian, and Ve to split out what was inside their mouths

"Ice is not her type, that's it", Ray said

"Shut up, you brat", Azora said

"Azora honey, Ice is only two one year older than you, so you can think of it as having a new friend, he was also trained for being your assistant from the start so he is the best one for this job", Josephine said

"You can be sure that he is strong and brave enough to be by your side, and if you want to see it with your own eyes, then how about you two have a match?" Kai said calmly

"... Ok, if he won against me, I would accept him as my assistant, but if he lost, we both will stay free", Azora said

Every one went to the training yards after that for the match, yet both Azora and Ice were late

"Loss, so we can stay free", she said, pushing him towards the wall and surrounding him with her arms, yet he got closer to her, forcing her to pull herself back a little, then he said "I'm not doing it for you, I'm willing to be your assistant as mother asked me to"

Ice walked out, leaving her to drown in her thoughts as she couldn't understand why would he get stuck with her only because his step mother asked him to, yet she got angry after that, and she went to the training yards fast

"After discussing a lot, you will have a sword match. Whoever drop the sword first loss", Tian said, then both Ice and Azora took their swords and started fighting

Everyone else was watching them carefully. They both were attacking and blocking the other's attacks, yet they were so harmonious and smooth as if they were dancing instead of fighting

"They both are on the same level, it's an endless match unless one of them used a sly trick", Ve said calmly

"Why? Why would you get stuck with me just because aunt Josephine told you to do so?" Azora said

"I would even die if she asked me to, doing this is nothing", Ice said calmly

Azora got in her deep thoughts again, yet she never lowered her attention and she kept focusing on the match, however, after a sudden move that almost made her the loser, she dropped her sword and surrendered

"Ok, I quit. Ice is the winner and he would be my personal assistant starting from this moment", Azora said, then she went to the house while everyone else was shocked to the point they couldn't speak after the conceited young lady of the Leo family gave up.

Azora went to her room and laid on the bed calmly, yet a familiar knocking sound on her door forced her to break the silence she was in and to say "what do you want, Ray?"

"You know it too, don't you?" Ray said, standing with his back against the door he closed and crossing his arms

"He was playing while I was giving it my best. That man is not normal, brother, he is hiding hundreds of secrets behind that steady face of his", Azora said without getting up

"His father is Kai, and his step mother is Josephine, did you really think he would be normal?" Ray said

"Nah, I knew it. I just can't understand him at all", Azora said

"He is your assistant now, you would have plenty of time to understand him", Ray said teasing his sister, then he left before she would have a chance to bite him as she used to do
