Before leaving the village, Anzar stayed a few more days to check if the two brothers were not going to the nearest city and report him to the authorities.

But they remained to mourn their families and lick their wounds, with evident anger, pain, and fear on their faces.

Terry and Flicks swore to each other to avenge the death of their family.

It was in this mood that Anzar finally left the village.

He must first find a source of income and a source of information.

And for that, he must meet with others, hoping to know a bit more without taking too much risk.

He went to the only city he knew. A merchant often came to his village to buy him a portion of his harvest. That merchant is from here, the Vulibilis City.

The city was surrounded by a 4 meter long wall, with a north and a south entrance. At each gate, there are four guards.

They had no armor, just a spear, a shield, a gray outfit, and a weak aura of a mortal which emanated from them.

Anzar remained cautious outside for two days to inspect the aura of people entering and leaving the city.

In the end, he saw only ordinary mortals.

When he wanted to enter the city, the guards checked his face and compared him with the individuals they were looking for. Then, after some verification, he was allowed to enter.

This is actually Anzar's first time in a city.

He first took the time to discover the entire city, it was just a tiny city, but for Anzar, it was rather big.

Then having already located the merchant's store with whom he had traded in the past, he went there and entered.

As soon as he put one foot inside, he heard an exhausted voice saying to him:

"Again? You guys always like to come when I am about to close the store."

Puzzled, Anzar replied:

"Mathias, I think you've made enough money to talk to your customers like this"

"Oh, Anzar!! What's going on? Your mountain sprouted legs and brought you here?"

Mathias said with a mocking voice.

Anzar replies while watching the goods in the shop:

"I see that your humor is still so horrible. It doesn't surprise me that you haven't found a woman at your age."

"Tsss..still the same. Come let me close the store and drink some tea."

Mathias says with a welcoming gesture.

They both talked about trade and the state of the city. In addition, Anzar was able to ask questions to learn more about the region.

Then at one point, Putting down his cup of tea, Mathias asked:

"How can I help you?"

Anzar said :

"I'm looking for a job in security or something related to fighting or protection, with a good income.

Mathias immediately replied, impressed :

"Oh yes, I saw that your body looks much stronger. You must have trained well lately. Humm... I'll ask some friends tomorrow. In the meantime, you can stay here and make yourself at home."

And so, Anzar went to a bedroom reserved for the guest.

To thank Mathias for his hospitality the next day, he decides to go hunting, hoping to bring something back for the evening.

Suddenly, in the middle of the forest not far from the city, he used his Qi sense to search for prey and discovered a strong fluctuation in Qi nearby. So he decided to approach while remaining hidden by the vegetation.

He found a middle-aged man and a young girl engaged in a fight.

Anzar approximated their aura and realized they were both at the same level. However, they didn't even have half of his aura, and he felt more secure.

He then decided to watch them while remaining outside the radius of their qi sense and see what may come next.

Since they were weaker than him, Anzar speculated that their qi sense field must also be less considerable than his.

This confrontation was only a hand-to-hand fight where both used martial art, hoping to gain an advantage. Their techniques were also similar.

A few moments Later, the young girl was projected by a kick to the stomach toward where Anzar was, which allowed her to spot him because of his aura.

"Senior, Please help me."

The young girl said in panic while keeping an eye over her opponent.

That's when the middle-aged man rushed in and cupped his fist and Said:

"Senior, this girl has a lot of good stuff. I am sure your excellency will be very interested."
