Powerless

Wei Wei fell pensive. Hmm... something seems off... never mind I'll go to another hospital... the girl said to herself and turned to Chu Nan.

"What happened?"

"They can't do it!... Can we go somewhere else?" Asked Wei Wei with concern.

"Mn" Replied the man with a grunt and went to get the car.

Two hospitals later, they were faced by the same issue. Back in the car, Wei Wei was feeling sick. Her anxiety took over her senses and she couldn't think straight anymore. She now understood that this must be the doing of Pei Lightian's father, fear enveloped her, she felt so small, powerless and vulnerable. She was mad at the same time, this is her body, her child her decision. How she wished she was back in the UK. Such things will never happen there.

"Let's call somewhere outside the city!" Chu Nan advised.

"Alright!" Answered Wei Wei, although she had now lost all her courage and started being afraid.

After a few calls, there was still no doctor available to perform the surgery. Deep down Wei Wei was relieved, she was very tired and didn't feel strong enough to go through with it. But at the same time she was stuck with no other options on how to do the abortion.

Chu Nan looked at the pensive girl in the passenger seat who seemed worried and afraid. He sighed and tried to comfort her.

"Wei Wei, don't worry, we will find a solution. I am sure cousin will be back soon and solve this matter. Besides you have me, I will stay behind you and support whichever decision you'll take!"

Wei Wei turned her head to face the man and smiled faintly at him. She was very grateful for his help.

"I know!" She replied, "Can we go home now?"

"Mn" The man nodded and started the engine. By the time Wei Wei got back home it was evening already. She went up in her room and got under the bed covers fully clothed. She started crying silently, she hated herself right now and the situation she was in. She wanted to disappear as well, like how Brother Tian did. A light knock on the door startled her.

"What!!!" She shouted.

"Young Miss, dinner is ready!" A maid announced.

"I had dinner out!" Replied the girl and started crying again. She was actually starving, she barely had any food today, but she wasn't in the mood to eat and if the baby inside her died of hunger, even better. She thought.

The night was long and quiet, the girl fell asleep while crying under the bed covers. She was really hot and uncomfortable, as she was still wearing the clothes she went out with. Wei Wei was focused on her dream. She dreamt that she was together with Brother Tian.

They were on a rooftop admiring the scenery from height, but the building seemed to rise higher and higher and she started to be afraid. They were so high, that the people down, looked like ants. She wanted to get off, but the ladder they had climbed on, now was being violently shaken by the wind. She called Brother Tian to look over. The man was relaxed and was trying to comfort her. He started going down on the ladder, assuring her this is fine and she will get down safely, but in the next moment he slipped and fell of the ladder through the clouds. He shouted at Wei Wei not to worry they will see each other when she gets down, but Wei Wei was screaming in shock. If she will get down she would see his lifeless body shattered to pieces from the fall.

Wei Wei suddenly woke up in shock. Her whole body was sweating and heat waves were going down her spine. It was a dream, its a dream, it is only a dream... She tried to calm herself.
