Chapter 6: The Divine Doctor Tells Fortunes 3
Qin Qin cradled her chin in her right hand, supported by her left, rubbing it thoughtfully before shaking her head at the seductive woman next to the middle-aged man. The woman, noticing Qin Qin's gaze on her, snapped, "What are you looking at?!"
"Looking at how beautiful you are; you indeed have the capital to make a man abandon his wife who shared his hardships. However, beauty can be a curse. Lao Feng, I advise you to get rid of this temptress sooner rather than later, or one day you'll find yourself ruined because of her."
Qin Qin said to the middle-aged man, Lao Feng, as she looked at him. From the vision, she saw a lot—Lao Feng's childhood, his present state, and everything that was going to happen in the future.
Lao Feng was once a diligent man who started his own business from scratch and married a woman just as hardworking. She had been with him through the toughest of times, cooking and washing for him. But everything started to change the moment he began to make money. After he became wealthy, he started following the bad examples of other men, not returning home and even keeping a mistress. His wife knew about it and repeatedly tried to be tolerant and persuade him to come back, yet it never occurred to Lao Feng that he was so blinded by the mistress that he eventually abandoned his wife, not giving her a penny of his fortune. Driven to despair, his wife left him. Later, Lao Feng married the mistress, only to find that she squandered all his wealth in no time and even absconded with what remained. Struck by this, Lao Feng suffered a stroke and ended up in the hospital. Lao Feng furrowed his brows when he heard Qin Qin call out his name, "How do you know my name? Do you realize the nonsense you're spouting?"
How did she know his name? Of course, she found out from the conversations she saw in the vision. She not only knew his name but also the names of his wife and mistress were clear to her.
Of course, Lao Feng would not believe that this young girl could have calculated all this?! But how could she know about the hardships he and his wife endured together?!
Seeing Lao Feng frown and ponder, the mistress coquettishly said, "Brother Lao, don't listen to her nonsense. I love you so much, yet she speaks ill of me. She must know you to be able to say your name. Please don't believe her!"

"Pfft!" The Swindler girl scoffed, rolling her eyes. Never deceive people? Yeah, right!
As Lao Feng and the mistress left and the crowd dispersed, finding no more entertainment, Qin Qin remained seated in her spot. When she saw two people standing not far away looking at her, she raised an eyebrow.
The young beautiful matron frowned slightly when Qin Qin locked eyes with her, thinking it odd for someone so young to be up to no good.
Whispering to the servant by her side, the two prepared to leave.
"Madam, wait!"
The refreshing and clear voice of Qin Qin emanated from beside her ear.
The young and beautiful lady halted her steps and turned her head to look at the girl who had stood up and was walking towards her. The girl's appearance was quite good; what was most memorable were her bright, lucid eyes. Unfortunately, she was nothing but a swindler.
Qin Qin stood in front of the young beautiful lady with a smile curling her lips, "Madam, let me tell your fortune!"
Tell a fortune? The young beautiful lady slightly furrowed her brows, "No need!"
Even if she believed in such things, she would never let a girl of comely appearance tell her fortune.
Having said that, the young beautiful lady turned around to leave, while the servant by her side glared fiercely at Qin Qin, thinking she did not measure up to tell fortunes for his lady!
"What a pity! I had wanted to help out of kindness and tell the fate of Madam, but it seems that in this life, you are destined to be childless!"
Having finished speaking, Qin Qin sat back down in her own place and closed her eyes to rest.
The young beautiful lady, shocked by Qin Qin's words, turned around with a trembling voice, "What… what did you say?!"
The servant was also surprised upon hearing this. The girl's kung fu was indeed done thoroughly; she probably spent her days meddling in everyone's private matters. Otherwise, how could she know about his mistress' affairs?

Qin Qin nodded with a smile, and looked at the young beautiful lady. After a long while, she finally spoke, "Madam came here today to pray for your three lost children and also to pray for the one in your belly?"
Before Qin Qin could finish, the young beautiful lady, shocked and urgent in her response, blurted out, "What are you talking about? What else do you know?"
If Qin Qin knew who she was, and that she had miscarried three children, but surely she couldn't know about the one currently in her belly. Who exactly was this girl? How could she know these things? Could she really tell fortunes?
"Madam is unwell, and despite seeing countless doctors, she is unable to keep her few children? Does Madam think she can keep this one?"
Qin Qin looked towards the young beautiful lady's still flat abdomen.
Startled, the young beautiful lady instinctively covered her belly, her voice trembling, "What do you mean? Are you saying… I cannot keep this child either?"
