[Olivia's POV]
The argument between Vonnie and me continued. All I wanted was to shop in peace, but why wouldn't she just let me pass? Vonnie grew more upset after my last comment. It felt like something was off—maybe what I said didn't match reality. I was only speaking based on what I'd seen in the past.
"Your words are so funny, Olivia, and they show how foolish you are. You think I'm with Tom? Ha… No wonder you've always been easy to fool, even since school. You haven't changed at all," Vonnie said, standing with her hands on her hips, clearly wanting to insult me until she was satisfied.
Back in school, Vonnie was known for her bullying. She acted like she ruled the place. Running into her on my day off really irritated me. Vonnie wouldn't let me go, and I had no idea how long this would last.
