Adryan's POV

As Adryan knocked on the door of the Woods' mansion, a harsh voice from inside responded, "Who's that?" He replied, "Hey man, I just got a few questions for Skylar." He whispered to Melanie, "Get behind me."

A guy suddenly appeared at the door and asked, "Who's the redhead?"

Melanie said quietly, "The bitch your daddy screwed on your mama with."

The guy bared his fangs and asked furiously, "What did you say you hoe?"

Adryan intervened, "Nothing, man. I just want to talk to Skylar."

The guy sneered, "He ain't at home. You can leave now, and you better watch your back." He ran his eyes over Melanie, and Adryan fought hard to control his anger.

"Annie, what in the world was that stunt?" Adryan said to Melanie. "You could have gotten hurt." Melanie replied, "Adryan, I need to find Melissa. We'll find her, come on."

Adryan pulled Melanie to the back of the mansion and said, "Trying to find Melissa. Open this lock." Melanie psyched the lock with demon energy and asked, "Talk to me."

He said, "Wait here, I'll go in."

Melanie refused, "Hell no, I'm coming with you." I warned, "It's dangerous, and you females have the problem of being high on hormones." But Melanie was determined.

Melanie's POV

I waited for what felt like an eternity, thinking, "Ohh mother Hera, protect Lissa's stupid ass. What's taking Adryan so long?" I contemplated going in after him but hesitated.

Just as I decided to take action, strong arms grabbed me from behind, covering my mouth with a scarf. I kicked and tried to scream, but it was no use. The unknown assailant pulled me away, and I cried out, "Adryan, Adryan!"

"Yeah, I'd also like to know why you tried to end my future," Adryan retorted, his expression softening as he cupped Melanie's face. "As you can see, Annie, I'm fine."

Melanie's gaze scanned the room, taking in the unmade bed, used condoms, and a poster of Dracula thrusting into Saint Agnes. "Seems like someone left in a hurry." Adryan nodded, his hand stopping mid-air as he noticed something under the bed. "Come here, Annie." Melanie walked over, and Adryan pulled out a black leather jacket. "I found this." Melanie snatched it, recognizing it as Lissa's. "Fuck, that means she was here. The question is, where is she now?" Adryan mumbled, and Melanie added bitterly, "And where the fuck is that son of a bitch Skylar?"

The guy from earlier lunged at Melanie, baring his fangs. "What are you two doing here?"

Melanie connected her fist with his jaw.

"You've got big balls, huh, tough guy?" Adryan shattered the guy's ribcage with a swift palm strike. "Woah, you've got some fire, Noir!" Melanie smacked Adryan's butt and grabbed Lissa's jacket. "Let's go."

Melissa's POV

"Oh, mother Hera, help me. I have to escape or else I'll lose my life. I know Annie's looking for me; I have to contact her." Melissa said as a guard brought her food. "Pee here," he said ruthlessly. "How you smell won't matter when you're dead." Melissa swallowed hard, formulating a plan to find Skylar and escape. "Is Skylar dead?" she asked. "The son of a bitch refuses to die after all the torture we've put him through," the guard replied. Melissa ate her meal quietly, plotting her next move.
