TELL ME MORE

"So, is it okay if I ask you something?" Ren asked carrying the shopping bags with all her might and he didn't even give a fuck about it.

"Hmm, yes?" He asked while taking off the beanie as it was getting hot.

Ren saw how his soft golden hair locks fell off free as if it was finally given some freedom. The silky hair was shining so bright when he ran his slender long fingers through it, ruffling it free into a mess. That was so boy friend material of him to do, it was so effortless and a simple action but it held the power of breaking her heart.

"Cool." She mouthed unknowingly as her urge to touch his hair grew wild but thanks to the heavy shopping bangs which were hanging down her hands making it impossible for him to do so.

"What did you want to ask?" He asked her, finally sparing a glance at her pathetic state.

His eyes automatically went to the heavy shopping bags in her hands and how her hands were trembling due to the weight. He wanted to smack his own ass for being so careless all these while and making a girl carry all the baggage especially when it was all for him and his friend. Noah pressed his lips together and walked to her, his hands naturally pulling few of the baggage from her.

"I can manage." She mouthed even though she just wanted to get rid of it.

"No, I am sorry for being so careless. This is all mine and hers so making you hold it is the stupidest thing ever." He chuckled dryly before taking it off her.

"I don't mind."

Ren hated the fact that Noah always mentioned Lia as someone so close to him and Ren never fitted in his circle. She obviously knew it would take a lot of time for her to be considered as a friend by him. She just shrugged the thoughts off her as decided to focus more on the present and to utilize the time with him at the most.

"How are you and Lia friends?"

"Hmm? Is that what you wanted to know?" He asked because he was expecting something else to be asked from her like how the place is and if he wants to get something else.

"Hmm, I am just a little curious." She smiled at him.

"We haven't known each other since long but she was in my place. We met a few days before coming her, that's all." He was being way too honest with her.

'Ohh, so you guys are not that close?"

"We are not that close but we both need to stick together for the rest of our lives. We are from another world so we need to protect each other." He smiled at her before walking to a food store.

"Does she also think the same? She had a fight with you regarding the stone." Lia was still having the stone with her not knowing what to do with it.

"Ohh, the stone doesn't belong to her too. It was in our place for no much reason so I took it here. I assure you that no one would come looking for it, she was just over reacting." Noah suddenly changed serious as the topic was shifted.

"Hmm, so you want to sell it?"

"Yes and as quick as possible. i am not planning to stick with you for long and such your life out." She chuckled before ordering a drink for him.

"It is fine. I am anyways staying alone so if you both stay, it will be like a help for me." Ren tried to reason as she was not letting go off him.

"We can meet again and hang out of you are okay with it. Staying with you forever doesn't sound like a good plan. Our ways are different but I am really thankful to you for keeping us with you, for treating my leg without asking me for anything. Now you are spending so much for us and taking leave just for us. I just don't like making you suffer." He was being honest and open a way too much that each words he said, poked her heart.

"Aren't you being a little too hard on your words? I am just being a good friend." She complained while ordering a drink on her own.

Noah gave her a confused look as he didn't understand what she meant and in his point of view, he was just being honest. He believed that was how things work because it was how it was in his place. People used to be too open and honest when they speak.

"Do humans sugar coat words?" He asked her again forgetting how had those words were harder than the earlier ones.

"Never mind, forget it." She huffed grabbing her drink before exiting the store.

"Well, I guess... I am a little hard to handle and I am sorry." He hummed as he walked to her.

"No, this is just the way you are and I have to get used to it." Ren smiled as she noticed girls again staring at him and giving her jealous looks.

They were done with the shopping so the next thing on the bucket list was to take him to some where else and enjoy a peaceful evening. She was planning to take him to one of the best parks in the country as it was the time of spring ending and beginning of autumn. The perfect time to get a view of the beautiful flowers and the garden they have set up in there.

"Why are they all looking at me? I am being that odd?" Noah asked her as he was also noticing the piercing looking people were giving him.

"No, it is because you look good, better than anyone here." Ren chuckled as she proudly praised him.

"I am not good looking. I am just normal?" The only word that lingered out of his mouth was 'normal'.
