Till Death

Albert looked at them and standing in front of Cameron and told him that he arrived just in time. The man then smiled and told him that he never gets late.

Eleanor interrupted, "Jay, You actually fooled us."

Jay smiled. "I'm only loyal to Albert."

Cameron ordered, "Charlotte, bring the princess back to the castle."

Albert smiled. "What's with the rush? We're not done yet."

"Stop this."

"Let them stay or I'll kill Princess Eleanor."

Cameron picked up his sword. "I guess I have no choice, I'll have to fight with my father."

Jay then brought out his sword and pointed it to Cameron, but before he was able to hurt him, Albert grabbed his arm and told him to put it down because he wanted to fight with his own son, fair and square.

Cameron responded, "Swords only. No powers."

Albert smiled. "No problem."

"Cameron, don't fight him! He's too strong!" Eleanor shouted.

Cameron responded, "Don't worry. I can handle this."

Albert brought out his sword. "The fight shall begin."

Cameron then swung his sword to the left as he was aiming for his father's head. On the other hand, Albert parried swiftly and reflexively. They moved back and forth, until Cameron swung his sword to the right. Albert then dodged to the side and pointed the sword at Cameron's neck. The cliff was very close behind Cameron now. Albert continued walking towards him as Cameron started stepping back until Cameron was at the edge of the cliff.

Albert said, "It's time for you to die, son."

"Not yet, Father," Cameron said as he twisted his father's arm and pointed the sword at his father's forehead.

It was not Cameron, but Albert on the edge of the cliff now.

Cameron responded, "Goodbye, father."

He then pushed him back. Albert started losing his balance, but before Albert was about to fall from the cliff, he grabbed Cameron's collar and pulled him as they both fell into the deep blue water.

"Sir!" Jay shouted as he looked down to see if they he was alive.

Charlotte said, "Go and die with them."

Jay looked back. "Who are—"

Before he could even finish, Charlotte got a sword and immediately stabbed it into his heart which left Jay, lifeless.

Charlotte looked at the dead body. "Your highness, Jay is dead now."

Tears started falling from the princess's eyes. "How about Cameron?"

"Your highness, I'm sorry."

Eleanor went to the edge of the cliff. "He's gone..."

"Your highness, we should go back. We'll just ask the royal soldiers to investigate..."

The princess cried, "Cameron is dead..."

A few hours later...

(In the throne room)

Mia's eyes widened. "You must be kidding right?"

"He fell in the water with your father," Charlotte looked down.

"I guess King Cameron has finally defeated him," Antonio said.

"We should've tailed her," Mark sighed.

"If you did, then it's not only King Cameron that would've died," Lucy said.

Josh asked, "What about Jay and the others?"

Charlotte answered, "Jay's dead, but Licia and Jack didn't show up."

"Eleanor must be in her room, if I'm correct?" Mia said.

Charlotte replied, "Yes, your majesty."

(In the princess's room)

"Eleanor, please calm down," Mia began.

"I've just lost Leo and now I'm losing Cameron?" the princess shouted.

"I know this is really hard for you, but we'll conduct a meticulous investigation."

Eleanor cried, "I should've fought with him. Because of me, he fell into the water with Albert."

"It's not your fault."

"Would I even be able to make it up to him...?"

The queen then told her that the investigation hasn't started yet so she shouldn't cry because Cameron is a strong man and she believes that he'll be alright.

The princess hugged Mia. "I can't believe that Albert was the one who killed mother and father..."

The queen patted her back. "Don't think about it anymore. It's just making your heart break."

"Do you think Albert's dead?"

"There's a big possibility that he is. The Inta sea cliff is part of the Water kingdom remember? If a person from another kingdom touches that water, then that person would probably dead by now."

"You said that Cameron isn't dead!"

The queen then explained that there was just a possibility. Although Cameron is from the Fire kingdom, he stayed in the Water kingdom long enough for the water in Inta sea cliff to realize that he isn't an intruder.

"Why are so much things happening to me?" the princess cried.

"Mia responded, "Eleanor, I think it's best if you take a rest. You'll be a lot better tomorrow."

Eleanor sighed, "I hope so."
