The next day...
(At Inta sea cliff)
Albert looked at the young woman standing beside her and told her how thankful he was to her. The woman then smiled and told him that she was glad that the view from the Inta sea cliff was indescribable.
Albert asked, "Princess Eleanor, That blue gem in your heart, does it still crack?"
Eleanor fixed her hair. "Thanks to Cameron, not anymore. He gave me a medicine that could fix it."
"I see. He must really love you then."
"We aren't together anymore."
"What happened?" Albert asked.
Eleanor then apologized and told him that she didn't want to talk about since it would just make her cry.
Albert patted her back. "It's fine. At least you're able to look at this beautiful scenery with me."
Eleanor clenched her fist. "I just hate his cynicism about what's going to happen in the future."
"Well, not everyone is meant to stay in your life forever. Sometimes, they are only there to teach us a lesson we ought to learn."
"How I wish my father was still alive. You really remind me of him."
Albert said, "You remind me of my daughter too."
The princess responded, "I do hope—"
"Princess Eleanor, I guess this is enough talking," Albert interrupted.
"Albert? What are you talking about?"
"I'm loosing my patience."
As soon as Eleanor heard that, she started feeling anxious. She couldn't understand why he suddenly changed his attitude. What did he mean by he was loosing his patience? Was Mia and the others right about him being the main culprit?
Eleanor laughed. "What is wrong? Do you need—"
"Princess Eleanor, you are the most slow-witted woman I've ever met in my life," Albert said as he grabbed her throat.
Eleanor then started hitting his arm as Albert tightened his grip on her throat.
"Let her go," a woman came and said.
Albert looked back. "Who are you? What right do you have to intervene with our business?"
"I'm in charge to protect Princess Eleanor."
"You must be a maid then. Leave us."
"Although I might not be part of royalty, it doesn't mean I can't do anything."
Albert then loosened his grip as Eleanor fell to the ground. Eleanor touched her throat. "Charlotte, what are you doing here? Go back."
"I'm here to protect you, your highness."
Albert laughed. "Protect? You think you can do that if you're going to fight against a powerful man like me?"
Eleanor said, "Albert, what do you want? You're not the Albert I used to know."
"You're so clueless. Give me the blue gem."
Charlotte shouted, "Your highness, don't give it!"
"Oh wait! You can't give it to me because it's already in your heart. Then I shall use my powers to get that blue gem out."
"Your voice, the tone..."
"You have probably remembered who I am."
"You... Don't tell me your the man in that cave...?"
Albert smiled. "I guess you've figured it out. In short, I'm the one that killed your parents."
"You're lying! I trusted you!"
"Well, I've lost my patience. It's time for me to show you who I really am."
Eleanor asked, "If you're the one who killed my parents, aren't you suppose to be dead by now...?"
"Luckily, I was able to survive. Now stop wasting my time and let my powers take control of your body."
Charlotte brought out a sword and stayed close to the princess. "Stay away from her."
Albert laughed. "A girl with a sword? You must be joking, young lady."
Eleanor said, "Tell me, Albert. What do you need the blue gem for?"
"Power, of course."
Eleanor then asked him if that was that reason why he'd been fooling her all this time. He lied to her that his name was Joseph and gave her hope of reviving her parents. Albert didn't know how much it's hurts to lose both parents at the same time and Eleanor couldn't understand why he had to treat her this way.
Albert laughed. "Do I need to tell you everything? I just want power."
"Then why not get the power from the red gem?" a man came and asked.
Albert asked, "What are you doing here, son?"
The princess's eyes widened. "Cameron...?"
"If you want power, then get the red gem! I have it here with me!" Cameron shouted.
"Why are you here?"
Cameron looked at the princess. "To protect someone that I can't afford to lose."
Albert laughed. "Very sweet, but I have no time for that. Help me tie them up."
"Who are you to order me around?"
"Are you disobeying me? I raised you! Do you know how hard it was—"
"You raised me? You left us!" Cameron interrupted.
"Stop this nonsense."
Cameron brought out his sword. "I knew you were the one behind everything."
Eleanor said, "Cameron, put down your sword. He might get hurt."
"You still care about that? Can't you see that he's trying to kill you?" Cameron shouted.
Charlotte informed, "Your majesty, Princess Eleanor's neck is swollen."
Cameron looked at his father. "What did you do?"
Albert smiled. "What's with that look? I just gave her what she deserves."
"Who are you to do such a thing to my woman?"
"I'm loosing patience, son."
"I'll kill you!" Cameron shouted as he started running towards his father, with the sword on his hand, ready to make him pay for everything. Until he suddenly felt a slight pain in his arm and dropped the sword.
"You're still the same, King Cameron," a man said.
Cameron responded, "Well, I guess you're still loyal to him, Jay."
