The next day...
"You seem to be acting unusual lately," Eleanor observed.
"We're not," Mia lied.
"There's just too much work to do," Mateo added.
Cameron said, "They're just probably exhausted."
The princess asked, "What about the—"
Before she could even ask, a woman suddenly came and informed the king and queen that someone wanted to see them, but he seemed suspicious. Mateo then smiled at the servant and told her that they'll meet him at the royal garden.
(At the royal garden)
Cameron looked at the man standing in front of him. "Father?"
Albert smiled. "It's nice to see you, son."
"Albert, it's been a while," Eleanor said.
Albert patted her head. "You're still the same old girl, Princess Eleanor."
"What brings you here?" Mateo asked.
Albert smiled. "I have some queries."
"Shall we talk inside then?"
"I prefer talking here, but before that, I'd like to ask how Eleanor is doing," Albert responded.
The princess smiled. "I'm doing great, Albert."
"How about my son? The red gem is still with you isn't it?"
"Why did you leave us?" Cameron glared.
"What are you talking about?" Albert responded.
Cameron then told him that he left without saying a word. He left Cameron and his siblings once, and now he left them again. Before Albert could even respond, a man came and interrupted, "He doesn't care."
Albert smiled. "Carson, I see that you were informed that I'm back."
Carson glared. "Cameron was right. You just used us."
"Carson, Albert might be bombarded with work lately," Eleanor assumed.
"Work? He always makes that excuse!" Carson yelled.
Albert said, "Son, calm down."
"Why? Are you afraid to let them know what you've done over the past years?"
"Son, don't make me angry, please."
"We're the ones making you angry? You're just a—"
"Prince Carson, I know that I am in no position to say this, but I think you're going overboard. He's your father. Have some respect," Mia interrupted.
Carson apologized, "I'm sorry."
Mateo said, "Albert, would you like to stay and have some rest? You must be really exhausted."
Albert smiled. "I would love to, thank you."
A few hours later...
(In the throne room)
Olivia looked at the woman walking beside her and asked her if Albert came alone. The woman then nodded and asked her what was wrong.
"Eleanor, It's quite surreal that he doesn't have a companion," Olivia sighed.
When Eleanor and Olivia arrived at the dining hall, they saw Leo and Cameron talking, so they decided to sit with them and talk about the culprit.
Cameron asked, "Didn't you tell me that the main culprit has a tattoo on his left arm?"
Leo took a sip of his coffee. "What about it?"
"My father has a small one in the exact same position."
"Are you suspecting father? He couldn't possibly be the culprit."
"We didn't expect that Licia, Jay and Jack would be too," Eleanor responded."
Olivia asked, "Won't he suspect that we're assuming that he's the one behind everything?"
Leo answered, "If we go with the flow, then of course not."
(At Pali village)
Licia glared at Jay and asked him they didn't leave with their boss, Albert. Jay then told her that he just changed his mind.
Jay said, "We have to be prepared."
"Don't you think that Leo would recognize sir?" Licia asked.
"Albert is always cautious. It is unnecessary to waste our time thinking if he'd be caught."
"Speaking of time, Leo has around five days doesn't he?"
Jack smiled. "Why do you ask? Aren't you looking forward to seeing him suffer? I've been waiting for such a long time."
Licia said, "I don't mind. At least he was able to buy us enough time to prepare."
"It's time for him to go back to where he belongs."
"At least find him a new grave."
"You think I won't?" Jack laughed. "I'll find him the best one."
