A Servant’s Trust

(At the Fire kingdom)

Julia looked at the princess and told her that she decided to get help from Queen Valentina and Queen Mia. Kaycee then laughed and asked her what made her think that they'd help her.

Julia smiled. "They would benefit from that too. Queen Valentina has agreed to help us."

"Look, I know you're trying to help, but Queen Valentina isn't the type of person who helps people and expects nothing back."

"She's my friend."

Kaycee blinked. "She's what?"

Julia then told her that she was both friends with Queen Mia and Queen Valentina.

"Look, I don't understand why you're trying to help us. You won't get anything in return."

"I want to help because your mother has asked me to."

"Well that's unnecessary. My brothers and I can handle this."

"You've been investigating who the culprit is right?"

"So what?"

"You're mother knows everything. She knows who is behind all the misfortunes happening," Julia informed.

The princess said, "Then tell me."

"I can't, your highness. I've been ordered by your mother to keep it a secret because it's someone you know."

"You may leave."

Julia said, "Your highness, I was—"

"Julia, please," the princess sighed.

A few hours later...

(In the royal hall)

"Cam-Cameron has sent us a letter," Adam said.

"Why do you look so terrified?" Kaycee asked.

"Just take a look at it," Adam answered as he handed her the newly written letter.

As soon as Kaycee finished reading the letter, her eyes widened. "They-They are together? Cameron and Eleanor?"

"What a relief. They're allies already."

"My second brother and Eva is finally together!"

"Her name isn't Eva, Kaycee."

Kaycee responded, "I'm just used to calling her that. I wasn't able to recollect her real name."

"Do you still suspect Julia?"

"I've always did."

"Look, I think she's just trying to help."

"No one even knows if she can really communicate with my mother."

Adam suggested, "Why not try trusting her? She's been working here for years."

The princess then explained that they didn't know what her intentions were. Even if her brothers did trust her, it didn't mean that they are suppose to trust her too. Adam sighed and asked her why she didn't suspect Timothy because he's the one acting suspicious lately.

"Look, my brother trusts him and I'm not being skeptical about his actions."

"It's your decision."

(At Pali village)

"Leo has failed to make her fall in love with him, sir," Jack informed.

The man said, "It's not only him that has an issue. I was wrong for trusting you."

"We've tried our best."

The man responded, "You've just showed me how worthless you two are."

"He still has a month till he dies," Jack stated.

"Then tell him to make use of it. I thought that you'd be helping me get rid my problems, but your just contributing to it."

"I'm really sorry."

"Don't apologize! Do something about it!"

Jack explained, "I just—"

"Sir, we've got some news from the Fire kingdom," a woman suddenly interrupted.

"What is it again?" the man sighed.

The woman then told him that his spouse was alive because one of the servants of the Fire kingdom was spotted talking to her.

"Licia, that's impossible," the man said.

"She-She also knows what your plans are..."

"What do you mean?"

"She is a spirit..."

"She saw us?"

Licia answered, "She knows everything, sir."

"Who else knows about this?" the man asked.

"Princess Kaycee was informed about it, but she wouldn't believe it."

The man laughed. "Of course. No one would believe that such a spirit existed."

"What do we do now?"

"It's simple. Kill my wife's spirit."

Licia said, "Sir, that's too difficult. We need to capture her spirit before we can kill it."

"Don't worry. I have a back up plan." the man smiled.
