Phycodurus Eques and a Sacrifice

In our times the sea dragon was big enough to wreck a ship in one turn. I was put in a cask and Amenda was unconscious after putting the ship on shield mode and was still comatized captain was worried sick about her as some one closer to him told him to serve Amenda as her protector.He was on duty but didn't know that shielding the ship will give her an inner shock and she will faint right away.

He called those mere mages to cure her so mages were working on it in the middle of the night someone fell in the sea the next morning when everyone got up from the sleep they get to feel something is passing through the ship captain and mages were working on curing Amenda I was inside the cask someone in panic came to the room where I was hidden in the cask.

He came closer and sat beside me he got pair of very sharp eyes he could see through every wall every sheet and everything except the clothing of people he get to see the dragon premierly. That's why the cold sweat was flowing down his head and his body was getting cold when he sat beside me with freezing cold tips of finger he was biting his nails and then he saw me inside the cask through his sharp eyes and when he tried to open the box it was not opening at all due to the spell Amenda casted on the cask.

The ship was on the sail but suddenly the waves started to rise high again the storm was still on its move although the ship was kept in three layered shield the people were still not save as Amenda the one who caste the spell was not in form to keep the shield and it was not in their hands to keep the shield it could break any time if a big wave or something gigantic took over it.

Now people were again in a panic situation that man with sharp eyes without talking to anyone elderly came out and said why not make a sacrifice if we do this may be the dragon will leave us alone. The commoners were not that much educated but the ones who were educated went against this opinion and said to not use such alternatives we must find something good to face this. The man who had me with him although he couldn't take me out from the cask but he could pick the cask so he did and had me with himself and told them "I am gonna throw this into water and believe me everyone the dragon will leave us alone" he shouted loudly " who is with me in this?"

The uneducated were more than educated ones they raised their voice high and in one voice they said "Us we are with you throw it" the man raised the cask high and threw me in the sea as soon as he threw me Amenda woke up and rushed towards the edge of the ship and was screaming loudly and was weeping she suddenly rushed towards the man and gripped him from his collar she slapped him and asked why did you do that Amenda was feeling anguished and was whimpering in pain.
