Chapter one part one

I smile at my delicious lunch staring right at my face, spaghetti is my one and only favourite, I can't wait to devour it, just me and this baby

"Nah girl, I'm here you can't fucking eat alone"

I sure know who's here, my one and only bestie Svetlana but I really want my alone time with my delish meal and yes she sure knows me well to know I want to eat alone

"oh right Lana, you are here, I'm so happy" I fake a smile with a total fake sweet voice

"That's sarcastic sweetheart, we both know that" she wink before sitting opposite me

"I thought you are going to stay in class through out lunch time" I say putting a forkful of spaghetti in my mouth

"Yh true but I couldn't wait to give you the news"

I furrow my brows. "what news?"

"There's someone new in our school" she says with so much excitement, I wonder why she's so excited about that

"Who gives a damn about it" I roll my eyes

"Everyone babe, everyone"

"so?" I say dryly. "I have a meal to catch up with"

"if you don't listen to me, I'm going to trash this meal of yours!" she hiss

Now she's threatening me, hell!

"You wouldn't dare trash this meal I bought with my money, Lana!" I retort backing myself up

"oh girl, I sure will"

I scan her face before looking back at my sweet spaghetti then I look back at her, okay she means business. "okay I'm listening"

"Good, you know the grand Dice Hotel" she starts

"Heard of it but I don't know much about it"

"oh girl!, you really are something to not know about it"

I roll my eyes wondering what Dice Hotel has to do with the new student

"Anyway" she continues. "the owner of the Hotel, his son is the new student, Ryan Dice, he's in our school" she squeal

I narrow my eyes at her. "That has nothing to do with me"

"Yh true, I'm only happy someone so influential is in our school" she says with a sigh signifying she's calm now

"like you aren't influential yourself like everyone around here is", true Svetlana is influential herself just like everyone else here minus me tho, I'm only opportune to be here cause of scholarship I sometimes wonder why Svetlana chose to befriend me, I mean I'm not in her class at all, anyway the way I survive is staying on my own and Svetlana keeping me company, I know how to fight for myself too.
