Green Tea and I

I have saved his number but I doubt to call him. What is the urgency of my call? Do I know him as this close? I just guest in the Metro City which leaves in few days. I have nothing to do with him.

"You have waited for hours, anything I can help?"

I looked at my phone's screen, He is right, two hours and fifty five minutes. I've waited those long.

"I…I need to make sure this puppy home safely. Its master live in here, but I'm not sure where he is"

"Whose the name? I'll help you to find out"

Help me? I tried to remember his name. His name is not too long, but is it his real name?

"Emer. His name is Emer"

"Emer?" the man is thinking then leaves me. He is going to talk to receptionist and order to find out who Emer is.

What am I thinking about? I have his number, why not just dial and talk to him? It kind of easy right? Entire netizen will comment negatively if they knew my stupidity.

"We can't find him. Do you have more clues? His last name maybe?"

"I don't have. I have totally forgotten his last name. I met him this morning and his dog just being left. I just want to accompany the puppy."

The men observe Green Tea. White puddle dog with cute round eyes.

"We can find him through the necklace. May I?"

"Sure"

The man takes Green Tea. He is scanning Green Tea's necklace with his phone. Actually, I just want to know if he is truly stay here or not. We met more than once. It little bit strange for me.

This morning is the weirdest, I met him in the restaurant. We are truly destined or, he stalked me?

"A ha" the man said. "Emerald Jody Rich. Tenant number 7903. His unit is in the 79Th floor. Do you want me to call him?"

"Sure"

The man make his call. He dials some number.

So, this Emer is truly live in here. I wonder to know, how much rich is he? Apartment near my hotel is not rich. Even you are rich, not all people ale to registered here. If my memory is correct, this man is working in Metro City.

My big next question is, what is his position? Is he coming to me for something related to the competition?

"Oh, he is not home. But I've massage his personal number and told him, you are here to make sure his cute Green Tea home safely"

I laugh cheerfully.

"Thank you, your help is very helpful" I said. "What time he will home?"

"Soon! Mr. Rich is kind of straight forward person. I he never let anyone waited."

"I glad to hear that, how long you know him"

"Long enough, he moved here since the opening of this area. He is kind of pioneer. The first tenant. He was very luck, he got his unit in opening price. Lower than market price"

"Impressive"

The man takes his leave after our chit chat. Is he manager here? Or chief of security?

Ten minutes later, a man I have waited for appears. He has change his clothes. He wears formal white shirt and sweeter.

"Sorry, I don't know you waited here. Did you bring Green Tea?"

I smile and arise from my seat.

"It's not a big deal." I said.

"I have nothing to do today. I saw you left me harshly and left Green Tea in the hotel. I remembered you told me you live here. So I tried my luck"

Emer move to Green Tea. He call this puppy and check if he is ok.

"Green Tea ate nothing. I tried feed him but he refused"

"It's ok. Thank you very much for taking care of him. I left him immediately when my boss is calling. I totally forgot about him"

I observed Emer closely. I need to know if he is telling a lie or not.

"What's your job?" I cut his explanation.

His face bit change.

"I'm bartender" he said.

"In this afternoon?"

"Oh, I…I'm personal bartender. Which means, I work for the company. Anytime they invited investor or anytime they need me, I have to come to serve their drink.

I don't work at any night club"

I take my bag and tell him my leave. He stops me. He is asking my number.

"For you are not call me, let me call you" he said.

I think for a while.

"I owe you tea this morning. Please, drop your number" he beg.

I takes his phone and save my number.

Back to hotel, I see Ryu sit on the sofa. He is waiting for me. He wonder to know, why I didn't join Mario, Bobby and Manuela to the lunch party.

"are you giving up?

"No, I just think it useless. Manuela is mega favorite know. Her deign inspired by many great architect. She bring new era designing, what can I do? Entire Metro City talk about her masterpice"

Ryu put his wine glass on the table.

"Not because I put coke in this glass, It turns into wine" he said. "Not because she is mega favorite, she will be the winner. You got more score than me, you should fight for the vote"

"No, I think it will be useless. His boyfriend is David Cannes. The director, what can I do? His lover must help her to design" I said.

"We can't prove it"

"Trust me, love is the most deadly weapon in the world. How about you? Why do you here? Why don't you join the party?"

Ryu smile vividly. What is he planning about? If I am correct he is acting stage since yesterday. He is one of director son. Is he jealous to Manuela's lover? Or he jealous to her design.

He asked me to come closer. His eyes is getting darker than before. I tremble at that time. He want something for me? I approached him carefully. When I reach less a meter distance, he whisper.

"I have waited here, to make a scandal that will bring me into the jail"
