In Pearl Harbor, Missouri's red phone rang. The fact this one did rather than the normal channel alerted her that something was up. "Supreme flagship." She answered. "Mo," It was New Jersey and her sister sounded more rattled than Missouri had ever heard before. "I just got done treating Glory for a broken bond. We have a Code 1." "You are certain?" Missouri asked, her voice trembling. She had prayed never to hear that code. "Glory confirmed it once I got her stable enough to report." New Jersey replied. "Arleigh?" Missouri's wires were trembling now. "We must assume the whole fleet too." New Jersey said. Missouri clenched her wires, willing them to stop shaking. She wasn't sure if it was fear, anger or both. But the adrenaline in her system was producing a feeling she had not felt for nearly a century. "Standby this channel, sister. I must get the rest of the chain on the line." She ordered.
