Chapter 25

"What's the problem?" Lou asked curiously because she was dragged by Drew outside the suite room.

"Ahm, last night, I remembered that I slept at the couch but this morning...I woke up beside Chase." Drew said shyly. Lou smiled.

"Did I ever sleepwalk?" Drew asked.

"I can't say yes and either no because you knew me. When my back reached the bed, I will wake up the next morning without even a single movement." Lou said. Drew sighed.

Lou patted Drew's shoulders.

"Nevermind that, I knew and I can see that both of you have the same feelings for each other. You just don't know how to deal with it because it's your first. Just go with the flow. Besides, you're both single and ready to mingle." Lou said winking at Drew.

"I don't know." Drew said.

"Let's go back, just be yourself. Let your heart do the rest." Lou said and pulled Drew.

"Dad!?" Drew said seeing her father inside the suite. Beside Frank, are Henry and Chase. Drew felt that there was something amiss because of the seriousness on the men's faces.

"Is there something wrong?" Drew asked.

"You have disobeyed an SOP. And now, because we're not certain whether the criminal that have escaped saw your face or not, but we're hoping he didn't, you'll stay at the safe house with Lou and Amira. Chase will be in command with Epsilon and Maximus. You're prohibited to go out unless it's safe for you." Frank said continuously.

"But, Dad, I think you're over reacting. Eventhough, he escaped, you knew that Epsilon can handle him." Drew said.

"I know that but it's better for us, for you, to act accordingly. I'm deciding this not as your General but as you're father. So, please, do what I said." Frank said pleading. Drew sighed. Chase, Lou, and Henry were just listening to them.

"I will accompany you to the safe house." Chase said while preparing for his discharge.

"What about your wound?" Drew asked.

"I'm fine." Chase answered.

"Do we really need to do this? I'm not used to be lock on one place doing nothing. How about the training, how about the mission? Aaaahhhh, this is really annoying!" Drew said stomping her feet. Chase smiled.

Frank and Henry went out to have a meeting with City L's and City A's officials. Lou went home to get Drew's and her stuffs to be brought at the safe house. Amira also prepared her things. They didn't forget to bring their guns for protection.

"Just bear with it until we catch him. I'll be in charge with the team. Trust me, okay?" Chase said sitting beside Drew at the couch.

"Besides, Amira and Lou are with you. And we'll visit you once in a while." Chase said smiling but it didn't help on Drew's feelings so she continued to wear a frown until they reached the safehouse.

The safe house was still at City C but it was an hour away from the camp. It was also provided with complete amnesties just like a normal house. A porch, living room, dining room, kitchen, three bedrooms, and a backyard with a pool.

"Nanny!?" Drew said seeing her nanny inside the house. She hurriedly approached the woman and hugged her tightly.

"I miss you, cupcake." Nanny said.

"I miss you too." Drew said.

"Where's Uncle?" Drew asked, talking about their butler at their old house.

"You knew he can't leave your father behind. They're like husband and wife." Nanny said that made Drew laughed.

"You already knew Lou and Amira, right?" Drew said and the nanny nodded.

"Good to see you again, Nanny." Amira said.

"How about that handsome guy?" Nanny asked pointing at Chase who was busy talking to the bodyguards that will guard the house 24/7.

"He's Drew's knight and shining armor, Nanny." Lou said with a teasing tone.

"Really, I should know him." Nanny said and walked towards Chase eventhough, Drew is pulling her.

"Nanny stop, it's not what you think. He's just a friend." Drew said trying to stop her nanny but she failed.

Just like the Butler in their house, Drew's nanny was trained, not as good as the others, but she can protect herself, as well as Drew.

Chase was almost done giving reminders to the six bodyguards when Nanny patted his shoulders. Chase looked back and smiled seeing the old woman.

"Excuse me son, I'm Drew's nanny ever since she was a child. I'm grateful to see that finally, my cupcake already found her coffee." Nanny said that made Chase brows creased.

"Nanny, he's not my coffee, so please stop your nonsense." Drew said pulling her nanny away from Chase. Amira and Lou are giggling.

When Drew was still a child, she really likes the cupcakes that her nanny are baking. It's the start where her dad and nanny called her cupcake because she can consume a dozen of it in just a moment. About the coffee, her nanny said that a cupcake is more delicious when paired with a cup of coffee.

"I'll be willing to be her coffee." Chase said looking at Drew.

"Oh, that's great. Finally, I can see my grandchildren. Come, I baked some cupcakes. Let's all eat." Nanny said pulling Chase. Drew was left with her mouth opened widely.

"I'll be going. I have to meet with the rest." Chase said.

"Okay, don't worry about Drew." Lou said.

"Well take care of her." Amira said. Chase nodded. Nanny pushed Drew and the latter lost her balance and landed on Chase's embrace. Amira and Lou giggled.

"Come with me, help me in preparing our dinner." The nanny said pulling Amira and Lou, leaving Chase and Drew.

"Call me when you want or need something. Don't remove your Phonito Nano. And your pistol always bring it eventhough you're inside the house." Chase said still his hands on Drew's waist.

"Take care of Epsilon and Maximus. I will kick your balls if something happens to them." Drew said, her face on Chase's chest.

"Don't do that, how can we produce little Chase and little Drew if you will break it?" Chase said smiling.

That's when Drew realizes that she's still in Chase's embrace and she pushed him away.

"I'll miss you." Chase said seriously. Drew kept quiet.

"I'll be going." Chase and Drew only nodded.

When Chase is getting in his bike, Drew called him.

"Take care of your wound." Drew said and Chase nodded.

"Will you be here tomorrow?" Drew asked that made Chase smiled.

"Yes." Chase answered.

"Okay, I'll be waiting." Drew said and run immediately inside the house to hide her embarrassment. Chase smiled and left the house.

"Boss, she's here but we might have difficulty in getting her. The house is well guarded." Goon one said through the phone.

"Don't worry, we'll have the chance. Just continue surveying the place. I'll come up with a plan on how to get their beautiful Alpha." The leader said with an evil grin on his face.
