Chapter 15

"Sir, whatever your problems are, let's talk about it." Drew said slowly walking towards the man.

"Stay right there! I'll shoot you." The man said. Drew stopped walking and raised her both hands as if surrendering.

"I'm Drew. What's your name, Sir?" Drew said. The man kept quite.

"I promise, whatever your problems are, I'm going to help you. Just put your gun down and let's talk about it." Drew said while observing the man.

Chase signaled the people inside the grocery to follow him in a corner where he knew it's safe for them to stay. When all of them gathered, he spoke. "Stay right here until it is safe to get out." Chase said and the people nodded.

The cashier looked at her manager and was trembling seeing blood is flowing on his shoulders.

"There's a first aid kit inside the cabinet. Get the gauze pad and let's try to stop the bleeding." The manager said and the cashier move slowly towards the cabinet.

Chase went back to the cashier area, hiding himself. He saw that the man is still pointing his gun to Drew. He saw that police officers were already outside and he knew Epsilon were in position. They can't contact them because their Phonito Nano were on their bikes. He's hoping that Dylan could understand the situation.

"Bravo, what's the condition?" Charlie asked.

"Alpha is inside together with Beta. I think Alpha is talking to the man." Bravo said over the Phonito Nano Hidden Earpiece.

"Let's give her time." Delta said.

"What's your name, Sir?" Drew repeated her question.

"I'm Romualdo." The man said. Drew sighed.

"This is it." Drew said inwardly. Chase smiled. He admired Drew for being calm even though a gun is pointed at her.

"What's your problem, Mr. Romualdo?" Drew asked.

"My wife is in the hospital. She's pregnant with our first born baby. I brought her to the government hospital and thought that her operation would be free but upon her discharge there was a hospital bill that we needed to pay." The man said.

Drew slowly walked again towards the man when she saw that he put the gun down on his side. Chase readied himself for any possible emergency.

"We don't have money at all. My boss is not yet giving me my salary because it's too early for my pay. The hospital said that they will not discharge our baby unless we pay the said amount." The man said in low voice.

"I see, how about this, Mr. Romualdo. I will accompany you to the hospital and pay your debts so you'll be with your wife and your baby. But, you know that you have committed a crime so you must face the consequences." Drew said observing what will be the reaction of the man in front of her.

"I'm really sorry. Just make sure that my wife and child are both okay. I'm willing to surrender myself but only to you." The man said crying.

"I will make it sure." Drew said patting Romualdo's shoulders.

Drew got the gun and guided Romualdo outside. Chase walked towards the manager who's injured and supported him.

"All clear." Bravo said.

"What clear?" Charlie said.

"They're going outside. Escort our Alpha." Bravo said and Epsilon followed their second in command removing their gears.

The police officers tried to get Romualdo from Drew but she signaled them not to. The manager was guided inside the ambulance together with the cashier.

Epsilon gathered around their Alpha. Romualdo felt nervous and Drew felt that because he tightened his grip onto Drew's arms.

"Don't worry Mr. Romualdo, they are my friends and we're all here to accompany you to the hospital." Drew said.

"What did you rode?" Drew asked her team.

"Your Range Rover." Dylan said.

"It's only near so I decided to bring it." Dylan explained when he saw Drew's brows raising.

"Let's talk about it later." Drew said that made Dylan scratched his head.

With Drew's BMW, Chase's Blackbird, and her Range Rover, Epsilon together with Romualdo, went to the hospital. The staffs were dumbfounded because Romualdo was escorted by beautiful and handsome men and women.

"Who are they?" "They looked like special people?" Nurses and Residents on duty were talking about.

They proceeded to the billing department and asked for the billing statement.

"Your wallet, Dylan?" Drew said. Dylan's eyes became widely opened.

"Why me?" Dylan said that made the rest laughed.

"That's your punishment in bringing my ride." Drew said smiling wickedly.

"But it was an emergency and bringing the ARV is a hassle." Dylan trying to avoid the punishment of their Alpha.

"You have your bikes, right?" Drew said still waiting for Dylan's wallet.

"But, they also rode your car." Dylan pointing the rest of the Epsilon but the others quickly turned their bodies away from Drew.

"You...!" Dylan said seeing the rest of the team left him in the air. Chase and Romualdo can't avoid giggling.

"Come on, give me your wallet." Drew said and Dylan didn't have a choice.

Drew settled the amount but before she left the billing section, she spoke.

"This is a government hospital, right?" Drew asked.

"Yes, Ma'am." The cashier answered.

"When you say government it means that the services are free?" Drew asked with her raised brow.

"Not all ma'am." The cashier said feeling a little nervous because she knew that the lady in front of her is someone special.

"Okay, tell your director, I will come back here together with my lawyer so we can clear things up." Drew said and didn't wait for the cashier response. The cashier was left startled.

Drew threw Dylan's wallet unto him and the latter only shook his head. His wallet is already empty. He wanted to cry. Lou, Shawn, and Spencer patted his shoulders. Chase stood beside him.

"Don't worry, I'll lend you some." Chase said.

"Oh, thank you, Senior. You're my savior." Dylan said.

Before they left the hospital, Drew got a phone call saying that the manager didn't file a case against Romualdo that made the latter very happy and very thankful. He hugged Drew and the rest of the Epsilon. He also got them godparents of his child.
