Chapter 1

Annalise rested her head on her knees with her hand supporting her forehead has she squats besides her fluffy decorated bed,her face directly facing the floor.She closed her eyes and a pearl of water drop splashing on the floor.

It was a bright and sunny day.The cloud clear showing off it's amazing blue color with the fluffy clouds drifted across the clear blue sky.

The sun shone it's light brilliantly towards the Burton's s mansion,it was a magnificent old building filled with lot of antiques.the exterior was painted coffee brown and white,which has start fading turning into blackish colour because it was an old building.

Chrysanthemum, Lily and rose were planted all over the places.The fresh scent of flowers filled the atmosphere as trees were busy dancing back and forth with the wind.

The building has only four doors,at the four cardinal point of the mansion located at the east, west, north and south.The door at the east side is only meant for the servant to pass through, while the West is for the wealthy visitors and friends and for North is meant for the family of Burton's mansion,for the south door is a personal space for Mr Burton.

Everywhere was thrilling as the slow sound of music was coming out of the Burton's mansion.

"ahem" Mr Burton was heard clearing his throat has he was about to speak to the audience in his mansion.

Thank you so much honouring my invitation,am so delighted for having you and you've also brought immense amount of happiness, thank you for that .

Mr Burton has six daughters, Annalise the first born of Mr Burton and Carmella,Hermia,Emma, Rebecca,Amber.

Carmella is the most favorite daughter of Mr Burton,while Annelise was been despise and torture by her sisters for been an illegitimate child.

She was so sad for not been Invited to the gathering,she was lock up in her room and deprived of many things.

she cried silently remembering her mum

how she use to treat her with care,love and over pampering.She wish her mum could still be there with her in the Burton's mansion.

Madam Linda,the oldest and eldest maid in Burton's mansion.She is in charge of employing and sacking anyone she wants.she has all authority over all the maid in Burton's mansion.She was so clever and respected and she has been serving the Burton's mansion since Mr Burton was a teenager.

She knows everything pertaining to the Burton's mansion and all his favorite food and sports.

madam Linda has been with the Burton's family for sixty years now.She started serving the Burton's at the age of fifteen She took care of all the daughters in Burton's mansion.

She really loves Annalise and wish she could be her own biological daughter.She likes her because she is intelligent and very obedient and she also treated her like her own mother. She treated Annalise nicely because Anna mum, also treated her nicely when she was still alive.So it's time to treat her daughter the way she treated her when she was alive.

It's time for me to introduce my precious and beautiful daughters to you,Mr Burton said as he gesture his hand toward his daughters who are comfortably sited on a steel,made of silver color chair.

Carmella,the second born and the most precious daughter of all stood up, with her sparkling clingy Blue,off shoulder dress,showing off her curvy shape with her tiny waist.The dress was so tight that it was pressing down her boobs making them pop out of the dress. She paired the dress with a silver heels decorated with lots of sparkling stone, increasing the way she shine. She waved her hand to the audience and smile with her lips painted pink and a fresh pop of blush on her cheeks for a balance look, lining her eye with a black mascara with her hair packed in a ponytail and her ear displaying a bold dangle earrings.

She was repeatedly applauded by the audience for making them go wow! with her dressing.

All the other girls also show off their dress and beauty and they were also applauded repeatedly.

"Have you seen Annalise today? madam Linda stop one of the maid who was carrying a tray with some mugs containing some liquid,which seems to be a liquor and asked.

madam Linda noticed Annalise was not present there.

No madam! the maid responded".

Madam Linda search the whole congregation and could not her.she climbed up to Annalise room using the elevator and noticed the door was locked from outside.

For a second she thought Annalise could not be inside since the door was locked from outside.but she gave it another thought and decide to knock.

Annelise! Annalise! Annalise!!

Madam Linda kept calling out to her name.She unlock the door to Annelise room and step inside the cozy dark room.The room atmosphere was not appealing and pleasant.

The room looks shabby,the walls and window all looks dirty. Madam Linda moves closer taking a step at a time towards the moving thing in the dark room.She tried to find the switch but she could not because the room was very dark.The thing seems to be moving closer and closer towards madam Linda.Her heart is about to jump out of their places,then the light was switch on.

Annalise eyes glows with joy when she sees madam Linda in from her,she seems glad and hopeful, forgetting all sorrow and seeing a glimpse of hope in front of her.

She bursted and cried like a child whose mother is about to abandon as she hugged madam tightly not minding her age and without leaving a gap between.

Annelise seems to have forgotten everything she passed through when she saw madam Linda.

"I am so sorry, madam Linda said admits tears.

"so sorry dear'.

madam Linda sat her down on her fluffy bed,she rested her head on madam Linda lap as she lay on her bed and cuddling with her pillow.

Why are you up here when there is a celebration going on down stairs, madam Linda ask Anna who was busy staring like she was in a trance.
