"No need to thank me. It's my duty to take care of you," Noah said softly.
"I'm afraid I've caused you a lot of trouble before," Cicely said apologetically.
Noah's face showed a hint of apology when he heard this and he said in a low voice, "We grew up together, so there's no such thing as trouble. Besides, being able to take care of you is my blessing."
"This blessing isn't necessarily a good thing. Although you're a doctor and deal with patients all the time," Cicely said, looking at Noah and shaking her head with a helpless smile.
He looked at the smile on her face and lowered his head in some embarrassment.
"Noah, you're still the same as you were when you were a kid. You can't take a joke and your face turns red. This time, I really appreciate what you've done for me," Cicely said.
"I'm glad I could help you."
"Noah, I need to rest now. I'm a little tired today," Cicely said.
