You don't like me

“Why are you so quiet, is anything the matter?” Adora ask Alex seeing how sad he was, she couldn’t believe that she has not succeeded in putting a permanent smile on his face.

“I shouldn't have done this” Alex said still lying down facing the ceiling.

“What do you mean?, you don’t like the way I am?, are you regretting this!, am I not beautiful enough?”

“That's beside the point, what will your brother think of me?,  beside I feel bad cheating on Sandra”

“My brother has nothing to do with this, just say you don't love me; and I get it, it's because of that Sandra” she got up angrily, took the plates and left his room.

Alex thought “What did I do?” he begins to wonder if he has ever told her that he loves her before. “Why is she angry? I didn't remember telling her I love her” he got up and put on his clothes and went outside.

Adora walk into the sitting room angrily, Zack was sitting down watching TV. She stopped and look at him then walk past him into the kitchen.

“Whatever, just stop chasing him” Zack murmured and continue watching the TV program.

Alex went out into the open space within Zack's house and saw a tree they use for shade, he saw a swing hang down the tree so he sat down there to clear his thought.

The sun is high and hot but the tree gave him shade and the breeze smooch through his face as he sat there thinking about his family.

Sandra is the one that occupies his mind the most. Zack has already told him how Sandra's house was burnt down by Blaze and Sandra and how they have killed her parents and her little brother and now she's a slave.

He blamed himself for everything that has happened to her, if only he didn't meet Sandra all of this won’t have happened to her and then to crown, he just cheating on her. It made him wants to cry.

“What’s on your mind?” Alex turned to see Zack and his heart skipped, he feels guilty for what he did with Adora, he just hope that Zack won’t find out. But he can read his mind he already know.

“Hey….am sorry for not coming when you ask” Alex apologize.

“Is fine, I just wish I was a woman” he said smiling from the corner of his mouth as he sat close to him and Alex move to make room for him.

“What do you mean?” Alex ask facing Zack as his heart starts beating faster, even though Zack is no match for him, he’s still afraid of him. something tells him that Zack already knows what he and Adore did.

“Is fine with me” Zack turn to face him. “Is not your fault, I know my sister, she never takes no for an answer.”

“I still don’t get you” Alex wants to hear it straight from him so he knows if Zack is angry or not.

“You.. And my sister… in there…, I know but..but…is ok”

“Shit…am sorry, I try…” Alex got up and move away from Zack, running his hand through his hair wondering if he’s  going to ever come out of trouble.
