Two days to Coronation day

Evelyn felt her face burn in anger. “ How dare he suspects her father, he’s just an old man who wants to fulfill his wish of carrying his grandchildren.

He has no right to tell her to look into her father.

“But wait!” Evelyn trace her neck, she still feels pains around her neck, and why would her father grab her neck like that? “is he that desperate? Oh my goodness! And I’ve sent Alex away!”

She was so confused, and desperate right now.

“How did it go?” Jack asked him as soon as he came back.

“I think Lincoln has a plan”

“What plan?”

"He wants to use my child with Evelyn for his project, I heard him say so, and that is why she’s on my neck to get her pregnant."

"But I think Lincoln is mad, that's the only reason he wants to use a human being for his stupid project?” Jack yells and Alex only looked at him.

“Only if he knows that we are a little different from normal human beings” Alex muttered but Joined Jack in cursing Lincoln.

“You need to let her go, stop seeing her already,” Jack said worried for his friend.

“I think that will be difficult now”

“But why?”

“I think Evelyn is in trouble, the way he held her neck, Lincoln is going to kill her if she refused or fails to do what he wants.”

“Then so be it!”  Jack said “Why should you concerned yourself about her, let him kill his daughter then”

“You don’t get it, Evelyn is innocent, she doesn’t know what her father is up to, and I need to save her from that monster Lincoln”

“Says who? The hero?” Jack asks making fun of him.

"Listen to me for once, you are going to concentrate on getting that position which is by the way two days from now, and you are going to put down your head and take care of your family, but! Most importantly I need a job, we are going to make lots of money, we will be like CID, arresting all the bad guys and taking all their property just the way you explain to me.” Jack said so excitedly.

“Yeah” Alex replied, he didn’t want to argue with Jack.

Clara went home looking for Alex but Sandra told her Alex has gone out and he was in a hurry to go out.

“Are you okay?” She asks Sandra but she just nods.

" You can talk to me, if you are not happy just let me know. Is Alex hurting you?”

“No! But I think he’s hiding something from me”

“I see, and that is what I’m going to find out”

She got up to leave but Alex walked in after seeing Jack.

“And where are you coming from Alex?”

“And why are you asking me that? I’m  I not free to go out again?”

“That is not what I’m saying and you know that?” she grinds her teeth as she speaks with Alex in a low tone.

I’m not doing anything bad, I’m just busy trying to get things ready for my Coronation day” he lies as he looks at Sandra who can’t even hear them.
