Threats

Evelyn was furious, "Alex lied to me, I can’t let him play me like this."

She called him a million times, but he wasn’t picking up.

“Fine, maybe is time that I pay him a visit, but wait, one more text,” she said and sent him a threat message, that she was going to visit his home.

Alex in Evelyn's house immediately after he got the message.

Grabbing Evelyn and pulling her to himself he warned her seriously.

Don’t you ever threaten me with  Sandra and my daughter, whatever we had is between us, don’t involve my family.

“Are you serious right now? Your family?”

“Yes, they’re my family!”

“You’re hurting me, Alex, let go of me” she struggled with his hand and Alex loosen his grip on her.

She looked at her hand and saw that Alex's fingers have registered on it, that spot of her skin is now turning all red, so she starts to sob and looked at it.

She has never had a man handle her so roughly the way Alex did today, she felt somehow ashamed, she has been living her life with dignity until she met Alex, he was the one who made her fall in love with him and now! This is what she gets!

“Alex stood there not knowing what to do, he tries to touch her but she refuses.

“Look what you did to my hand, I spend lots of money on my skin, and you did this to me? You treat me like a common street girl!”

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to” Alex begged, feeling guilty for his behavior, he should have handled her more carefully and not hurt her like this.

“Can I…, let me..” he tries to hold her hand and look at the wound he inflicted on her by just holding her hand tight.

She took the opportunity to make him coil into her bed again.

“I’m thinking we should start our wedding preparation since you are now the head of the clan. Next week will be fine by me” she keeps talking and talking pretending not to know that Alex is getting married to Sandra next week.

“Please, next week won’t be possible, I have a lot on my hands,” Alex said more confuse because he didn’t know what else he was doing.

Evelyn made sure that Alex didn't’ go home that night coursing Sandra to be worried.

She called Clara asking if Alex is in their house but no! He’s not here. Brian said the same thing and Sandra starts to cry.

Early next morning Alex was standing in his house like a lost puppy, he ran out of lies to tell Sandra.

“What other lies do you have to tell me this time?” she asks with tears running down her cheeks.

“Talk to me!” she demanded hitting his chest while he stands there not saying anything.

“Is she, right? is the doctor girl, right?” she asks Alex but he refuses to speak.

“I'm done Alex, I’m leaving” she went in and took her daughter with a few things.

Alex didn’t know what to do or say, he just went with her begging that she come back with him.
