I need a grandson

“Shit. I hate him!” Jack curse.

“What happen, why didn’t you pick up my calls, I almost died,” Evelyn said” shivering in bed pretending to be very sick because of him, she has threatened to end her life on the phone if Alex refuses to show up.

“I was busy”

“Busy with her?” She asks and starts to sob.

“Alex held her and ask why, I have to be with her, she’s my….”

“I don’t want to hear, I will be your wife soon so don’t tell me about her” she cover her ears with her fingers and Alex just shook his head.

“Why is she becoming so difficult? Why am I even here?”

Alex, what are you thinking?” she held him turning him to face her.

“Look at me, what are you thinking?”

“Then make me happy” she starts kissing him but he’s not in the mood for that.

She keeps disturbing him until they heard a knock on the door.

Who could that be?” she got up to get the door but Alex hide behind another door.

Lincoln walked into his daughter's bedroom, looked around suspiciously, and turns to face her.

“I thought I will meet your boyfriend”

“And why will you do that?”

“Look, there is no time, you need to make Alex get you pregnant as soon as possible.”

"Dad stops it, someone might hear you and think am desperate to have a child."

"Of course, I’m desperate, your father is desperate to carry his grandson."

“Grandson?” Evelyn ask. “You need a grandson? What if it turns out to be a girl?” she asks, surprise that her father wants to tell the creator what gender to give to her.

"You can’t have a girl child Evelyn!” Lincoln yells.

“What! Who are you to question the creator?”

Lincoln laughs at her, "listen, little girl, I don’t care how you do it, make sure Alex gives you a male child” he grabbed Evelyn’s neck and threatened her.

Then he left her and walk away leaving Evelyn dumbstruck.

What just happened? Did her dad just threatens her? she began to shake and Alex came out of his hiding place fully aware that Lincoln was the one pressuring Evelyn to get pregnant by him.

She hugs Alex and starts to cry. “I'm sorry you heard that, yes is my father who is pushing me, he wants to see his grandson before he dies, you know I’m an only child and he has always wished to have a male child.

I’m so useless, I can’t do anything for my father and the doctor says he has a few years to live.

Alex, please help me fulfill his dream of carrying his grandson before he dies” she begs him.

Alex just smirks wickedly from the corner of his mouth as he hugs Evelyn.

“ I believe you don’t know who your father is, he wants my child with Evelyn so he can use it for his project, hmm, I see” he muttered still hugging her.

“Alex say something, why are you so quiet?”

“Yeah, of course, I will help you, but on one condition”

“What is it?”

“Do me a favor and find out why your father desperately needs a male child, because I’m suspicious of him”
