Husband to the widows

Adora went back to Lincoln and ask to return the money she took to betray her family but Lincoln only laugh at her. “You must be joking little girl, Lincoln doesn’t do business like that. Now run along” he motioned for her to get going but Adora stood still not moving an inch.

“Take her out of her!” Lincoln order his guards to throw her out of the building, she was almost in tears as the men drag her out and thrust her out of the gate.

“I just want my mother back” she cried.

She went home and refuse to do anything else, her father tries to tell her they are doing something about it but she refuse to eat, regretting her action.

At least Sandra and Clara are gone but she still needs her mother back.

"You don’t have to worry much, I have put a call across to the elders in council and they will call him to order” he tries to console his daughter.

“But do you think the elders will be able to do anything? you know how they are loyal to him, they even worship him like a god,” Adora said so worriedly because going to the council means nothing to Lincoln.

“Don’t worry, let’s just try, who knows,?” they were still talking when he received a call to report to the council.

The man told his side of the story while Lincoln denied ever kidnapping anyone.

“I have lots of people who are willing to testify to that effect, I have never done anything illegal, not to talk of kidnapping!” he said with so much disgusting look showing on his face.

A lot of witnesses step forward and gave their testimony in favor of Lincoln, some say he can’t even hurt a fly, and some say he is their only source of income.

Then Mr. Eyeglass step forward and playing with his ball, he said.

“It is so insulting and dehumanizing for someone to say our dear Lincoln here who can not hurt a fly is a kidnapper.” There was lots of murmuring in the room after he said that.

Some people are saying he’s a good man, some are saying he’s not.

“Order!” a man shouted from the elder's table and the noise died down.

“Continue,” the voice said to Mr. Eyeglass and he continues.

“Like I was saying, it is an insulting and embarrassing situation for someone to say our dear Lincoln is a kidnapper.

I will tell you with all boldness that he is the best man I have ever seen, he’s like a father to the fatherless, a husband to the window…” someone cleared his throat from the crowd when he said " The husband to the widows, and the murmuring begins again.

“order” the man shouted once again and the murmuring stopped.

"Without taking much of your time, I will say that the allegations against Mr. Lincoln is false and was made out of jealousy because he is more successful than them."

There was clapping when he was done talking and Mr. Lincoln looked around to see how many supporters he has.
