Homeless again

Blaze came out but was surprised to see men with weapons talking to Sandra.

“What is going on here?”  

“I told them is just me and you but they’re still asking for some lily, we don’t know any lily,” Sandra said hoping that Blaze understand and not sell lily off. but she always understands.

She switches and speaks to lily from her head, she told her to run.

“What!”

“There are men out there looking for you,” Blaze said while looking at the men with a serious face, they find her scary but they are men after all. They don’t need to be scared of a woman.

“Drag her away” the frontman gave the other as Sandra refuses to leave the door despite his politeness to her.

The men charge towards the door but Blaze pulled Sandra away and sliced the first man's throat, the one that got to the door first and the rest stood still.

“Who’s next?” Blaze asks. But everyone stands still in their positions like status, while the dying man struggles with his life.

“What! Why did you kill him?” Sandra asks Blaze, is obvious she doesn’t want anyone dead.

“I was only trying to save you!” Blaze yelled at Sandra.

“Seize them” the man ordered, but no one was moving.

“What are you waiting for!” the man shouted at the others but no one was willing to die as Blaze was more than ready to kill every one of them.

One by one they left and starts running to the village.

“We have to leave now!” lily came out of her hiding blaming Blaze for killing the man.

“I had no option,” she said “But I was handling it just fine before you decided to make us homeless once more.

“There is no time to fight, let’s just hurry,” lily said picking up a few things they hurried out of the house before the villagers came back they are gone.

“Burn the house down and block all entrance” the king ordered and it was so.

Lily raised her eyes from a distance and saw the smoke going up high in the sky, the smoke of her burning house.

She stares at it and tears stood in her eyes.

Sandra look away, she didn’t want to see the sad look on her face, is all their fault that she has lost the only thing left of her.l

Blaze has nothing to say, she walks a few distances from them and sat down, she’s not the type to show off her emotions.

“We just have to get out of here, there is no way will are going to survive out here,” she said rather than be sorry for what she did.

Everyone was silent, they didn’t talk to each other for minutes but then Blaze said “I’m sorry, I was only trying to help” Sandra thought she didn’t hear her right. “did she just apologize? indeed Blaze is becoming weak.” She thought but lily forgives her anyway.

The best thing is to look ahead” lily said and they got up and went in search of where to stay till the hundred days elapsed.
