His fault

“Okay,” he hangs up and then calls Zack.

“Did you do it? I mean the surprise decoration of my house"

“Oh, yeah, just enjoy your night, I will see you both tomorrow”

“Please don’t hang up, how do I ever thank you enough, you are the best friend I ever ask for, thank you so much”.

“Stop being a woman, Alex, do you want to cry?  just enjoy, you want me to go emotional?” Zack asks and Alex just smiles over the phone.

“Thank you, Bye” he hangs up the phone, he is so surprised at Zack, how did he come up with such an idea?

He went back inside and take all the credit as Sandra made him the best delicious meal of all time.

They were so happy with each other.

After two days Zack visited Alex and he was received as a king by Alex and his wife.

“That was huge!” Alex told him as they sit alone and Sandra was busy with work.

"Yeah, I want Sandra to enjoy you for now, because something huge is coming” he whispers to Alex.

“What do you mean?” he lean towards him as his heart skipped with what he said.

“Lincoln, he is planning something huge, I don’t know yet, but Sandra may need those lovely memories of you to go through what is coming, I think Evelyn and Lincoln will stop at nothing to get you, Sandra needs to know that you love her.”

Alex listens with his heart pounding, he has never heard Zack talk like this before, maybe is not just threats that Evelyn sent him, maybe they are planning to kill him.

He showed Zack the text messages that Evelyn sent him.

Zack smiled and one thing Alex liked about him is that he is always calm amid Chaos.

“What do you think?” Alex asks him.

“Hmm, is just a threat, but you have to be careful, be ready to use your powers, you need them to protect your family”

“Yeah,” Alex agreed.

Meanwhile, Evelyn, waited for Alex to call or even text, but none was coming. “I don’t want to believe that Alex is trying my patience?” She asked sitting on her office desk, she stares into space, “He promise to come to me when he returned from that stupid honeymoon, I even brought myself low to be a second wife to him, hmm” she keeps thinking of all the things she has to let go because of Alex.

She let her pride down, she risk her beauty, she left her big plans to marry the most powerful rich man and fall for Alex, but wait a minute, it was all Alex’s fault, she didn’t want to fall for him, he persisted.

He won’t give her breathing space, he made sure she fell for him. “Hmm, Alex, you mess up with the wrong woman, I won’t let you go free, you can’t ruin my life and be at peace with yours, you will pay!” She hit her desk with her tiny fist.
