He doesn't love you

“What! you can stay with us, there is enough room for everyone” she brought them inside and Brian could only shake his head. He didn’t want to scare Pat so he kept quiet.

Pat gave them room to stay and even told Blaze she was free to sleep in her room.

“Is fine, we will manage here” Blaze told her and she left the three women.

Sandra throws herself on the bed and demanded food.

“I’ve tried in getting us a place to stay, you get the food” Blaze told Sandra even though she knows Sandra doesn’t have any money with her.

“Let’s not start a fight here, this is not your house,” Lily told Sandra who care less if is her house or not.

Blaze didn’t want to fight with Sandra so she went outside.

“Hey…” Brian grab her dragging her into his room.

“I hope you tell her not to turn into that snake in my house” he whispers but with a cool hash tone.

Blaze only nods and Brian released his grip on her as their eyes locked. She felt strangely trapped by his eyes, she couldn’t take her gaze off him.

“I-I'm sorry, I just didn’t want her scaring my family members,” Brian said but Blaze was just staring.

Brian narrowed his eyes in disbelief as his heart skipped a bit, he didn’t want to believe what he just felt now.

“I. I was about to go out to take some fresh air, do you want to come with me?” Brain asks not knowing what else to say to her.

“Yes” she nods and he took her outside.

Sandra and Lily waited for Blaze, they thought she went out to get food, but it was obvious she isn’t coming back.

“What is keeping her?” Sandra asks very angrily because she’s damn hungry, she could eat a full Chicken.

She storms outside only to find Blaze sitting comfortably with Brian and chatting.

“What in hell’s name is she doing with that boy?” she muttered angrily and walk toward them.

“Where is the food!” she demanded.

“Look Sandra, there’s no food, get used to it”

She looked at Blaze as if to bounce on her but Brian got up.

“Is fine, there’s food in the house” Brian went to get some.

"What did you think you’re doing with him?” Sandra asks grinding her teeth at Blaze. “He can’t love you once he finds out who you are” she whispers to Blaze but stops speaking once Brian gets out with the food.

“Here you go” he hand it to her and she smile taking the food she thank him and went indoors leaving Blaze and Brian alone.

Blaze looked at him and wondered if Sandra was telling the truth, so she decided to test the waters.

“I love you?” she said out of the blues.

"Huh!” Brian thought he didn’t hear that very well.

“I love you for rescuing us and giving us shelter,” she said smiling.

“Is nothing, I did it for you”

“Do you love me then?”

“What!”
