Hard truth

“Wow!” Alex said in his mind, this is just what he wanted, walking majestically into the large hall with Zack, Brian, and Jack walking behind him, they are all putting on black suits that look alike.

They look like the most elegant billionaires of the year. They can see the ladies smiling at them and Alex knows that his charm will be the downfall of many ladies here.

The staff bow to greet him, and with that serious expression, he waves one hand to them.

“We are glad to have you sir” they all chorus and he nods without saying a word.

The man lead him to his office that belongs to his father, everything was intact, they have been waiting for him to resume but Lincoln came alone and told the board that Alex was dead.

“Hmm,” Alex went to his father’s desk, walk around, and sat on the chair, it rolls him around and then he got up.

The man smiled at him and a young lady walked into the office.

“This will be your secretary,” the man told him and Alex smiled.

Jack looked at Zack but he takes his eyes quickly away from him, he knows why he was looking at him.

Giving Alex a secretary as this beautiful is a pain in the ass.

“Thank you,” Alex told the man. “I will like to be alone for now,” he said and also ask the Secretary to go.

“Thank you, sir,” she said bowing to him.

“Does everybody bow here?” Alex asked Zack when the man and the Secretary left.

“You are now the boss, they are only showing their respect to you, but if you ask me I think you should change your Secretary,” Zack added.

“Why?”

“I will prefer a male for you”

Alex smirked. “You don’t trust me, do you? Besides, she’s not my type”

“Yeah, I agree with Zack this time, a male Secretary will do,”  Jack said.

“Me too, a male will be fine” Brian added.

“Wait a minute, what do you guys take me for? A womanizer?” he asked with his mouth open, but none of them answered his question.

"Fine, a male then” he pick up the phone and called back the man.

“I will need a male Secretary,” he said.

“That will be no problem,” the man said and left.

“Happy now?” he asked them but they are still silent looking at him.

“What now?” he asked them because none was talking, they were just staring at him.

“Okay, what is going on? Why are you guys looking at me like that? You said male Secretary and I just changed the beautiful girl to some ugly guy, who knows what he will look like by the way, and you guys are still not satisfied?”.

“Don’t you think is time for celebration?” Zack asked and Alex was relieved, he thought he did something bad.

“Of course, we are going to celebrate this night.”

“So, what will be my position now?” Jack ask but Zack told him to calm down.
