Confused

“Wait…wait..” Alex tries to make him stop.

“I don’t understand, why did my father send me to you?”

“To make you king” The man said with eyes wide open.

“But I thought it was head of the clan, why king?, when I don’t even know what a head of the clan is” Alex ask so disappointed.

Nothing is ever clear to him, he can’t seem to wrap his head around anything here.

“Are you confused?” the man ask and Alex raise his head quickly looking at him with this look that said “yes, I’m confused” at last he finds someone who ask him the question of his life.

“I’m very much confused sir"

“Okay sit”

Alex sat down and the man starts telling him the history of how they came to be on earth and how they were not planning on going back because here they have all they want. And they can easily manipulate humans to do their well.

But the problem lies within their kind, even though they have the freedom to live the way they want, they still need a King to rule over them and to make sure that the human government does not interrupt with their government.

He also told Alex about Mr. Lincoln's Project, he's producing deadly chemical weapons he wants to use to eliminate the human race, and how his father Mr. Wale has been working so hard to terminate that project but in the process, he died and it seems that Mr. Lincoln is having the upper hand.

 “Mr. Lincoln wants to become the head of the clan so that he can get all the support and approval he needs to complete his project and that is what your father has been fighting for, Alex you need to stop him and free the mortals” the man concluded.

Alex just couldn’t believe this. “What powers do I have to stop him?” he asked the man.

“It is for a time like this you were born Alex, if you love that human girl, then you must do this for her because Lincoln will stop at nothing to carry out his plans if no one stops him.

Alex was beginning to get it now, he is beginning to accept who he is.

“You have to hurry, save the girl because Lincoln already knows she’s with your child and he is going to be more powerful than you.”

“What? how do these people know all these things? he only had sex with Sandra  last week and now they already know she’s pregnant!.”

“I’m sorry, but I don’t think she’s pregnant,” Alex said and the man laugh at him.

“Listen, my boy, we always know even though is for a day, your Sandra is three days pregnant”.

“Hahahaha, three days pregnant! don’t be ridiculous” he has never heard such a thing even though he went to school abroad he has never come across such a thing.

“As we speak, Lincoln is making plans to use the babe for an experiment when it's born. The earlier you save her from Lincoln’s hands the better for you”.
