Chapter 75

“Yes I'm worried about you shouldn't I be worried.?”

“I don’t think so, and Alex,” she called getting his full attention. “You make me confused and I don't want to continue in this your confusion. Just leave me alone and go back to your world, because I'm not rich and I don't want to compete with anyone” she said and turn to leave but Alex grab her hand and pull her towards him and kiss him in front of many people.

“What are you doing Alex, this is a marketplace”.

“ I don't care, if that is the only way I can show you how much I love you.”

Sandra was more confused now, but Clara just shook her head inside the car.

“Alex you need to leave now” Sandra said looking around seeing how people are looking at them and some making their faces and raising their mouth towards the sky, while others simply twisting their mouth at them and some making circles sign on their head and snapping their finger to indicate “God forbid.” But Alex didn’t care.

“I'm not going until you accept my apology and forgive me.”

“Look I have forgiven you just go ok my mum will soon come out, just go.”

“Ok give me a hug to show me that you have forgiven me”

“But I can’t do that, can’t you see that people are starting to murmur?”

“I don't care, all I want is for you to forgive me, all I want is for you to be safe, all I want is for you to know that I love you and that I will not do anything to hurt you”

“I’ve heard you and I have forgiven you, so you can go now”.

“Ok, but will you come by the house today when you’re done helping your mum.?”

“What!, what about your wife?, I don't want any trouble.”

“She won't give you any trouble I promise, she's not even around. I don't care where she went to.”

Sandra thought that she is directly walking in the fire because she knew that she can't stay without Alex, she knows that no matter how she pretends, her heart beats for Alex and she didn’t see Alex as someone who is married.

Everything is becoming so confusing for Sandra.

“Ok I will come” Sandra said in order to make Alex go away from the market.

“Thank you, I love you”. he said as Sandra turns to go back to her mum.

She turned to look at him but didn’t say anything, she only gave him a little smile and Alex walked back to the car.

Clara ask him anything when he enters the car, she was so quiet as they drive home.

“Okay, what do you want to say now?” Alex ask Clara.

“I don't get you”

“Why are you so quiet?, I know you want to say something but why are you not saying it?”. Alex ask knowing what Clara would say.

Sandra is not in anyway in their league, Alex by all standard is not supposed to be seen near Sandra, for goodness sake Alex is a multi-millionaire who doesn’t know how much he was worth.

Clara could only imagine what will happen if their parents got to know about Sandra the fish selling.
