Chapter 30

Alex woke up from sleep and thought it was all a silly nightmare.

“Oh thank God it’s just a dream” he said and start looking for his mum. “mum… mum..he called.  “Where are you mum?” Both his mum and Clara heard him calling and his mum stood upright waiting to hear millions of questions from Alex.

 Clara rushed to him and say.

 “Alex are you awake”

“Yes, and where is mum? I hope she’s ok?”

“Yes, mum is ok”  Alex rushed to his mum.  “Mum are you ok?”

“Yes, I'm okay. Is anything the problem” she ask surprised and looking at her daughter, they both look surprised.

 “ Mum I had a terrible nightmare, but thank God you are ok mum”  both were surprised at Alex, but his mum was relief, she thought Alex was about bombarding her with questions about her tongue.

“Okay, I'll be in my room” Alex left them went to his room but he is still worried about what he saw. “but it’s  look real, why am I confused? I thought I saw it clearly” he went to the bathroom and wash his face. “Alex calm down maybe you have a lot in your head” he tries consoling himself.

“What's wrong with him?” Clara ask her mother surprise.

“ I don't know, I'm surprised as you”

“But wait, are you sure he’s ok in his head?, maybe all the things he’s saw is making him go mad”

“Will shut up?,  no son of mine can go mad” her mother said, he’s just confused, leave him alone it will clear”

Alex thought he was going insane, he  keeps imagining things, he was thinking about a whole lot of things that he forgot to check his phone. Sandra has been sending tons of calls and messages but Alex couldn’t see it because he was so occupied with everything going on around him.

Alex got to realise that all was reality when his father came back.

“What kind of a weakling are you?” his father starts shouting at Alex.  His mum rushed his father.

“Please honey calm down, I believe he is going to adapt to everything”

“When?,  when will that be?” he shouted.

“What happened today?” the mum ask when she has calm her husband down.

“Can you imagine, I took him to see a client but you can't believe that he was shaking because ofl,a mere bloody  he saw”

“His mother just looked at Alex and back to her husband.

Don’t worry honey, he is still learning, he will be more powerful that you thought” she try to calm him down, because no child of his will be considered a weakling, that child cannot survive in their world.

“I understand, I will do my best to make him know who he is” the mother said.

Alex began to  recall everything that happened that day. “ Oh my God, so all is true, is not a dream after all, this is for real, it's not a dream”  He walked out on his parents and went outside.
