Chapter 24

“What is happening?” Sandra ask, “Is he angry at me for not answering his calls,? What do I do now?, Let me text him” she type the text and send.

Alex was still sleeping when she sent the text so she waited and waited but no reply.

“Oh my goodness, he is really angry, what do I do?” she hurried to the market because her mother was waiting for her.

Alex woke up and went to take his bath, he came out and took his phone.

“What?”. 20 miss calls and a text message.

“Who could this be?” is Sandra.

“Fu*k..  what will I tell her, that am sorry? That she should not wait for me?.. shit..” he opened the text and read.

“Dear Alex, am sorry for not answering your calls on time, I was in the market helping my mother and I left the phone at home, please don’t be angry with me, it will never happen again, I love you and I promise to wait for you, much love from your Sandra.”

Alex keeps staring at the text message for a very long time. He didn’t know if to reply or ignore. But he thought it was not good to ignore so he text her back.

“Am not angry at you, and will never be angry at you, you are the only best thing that has happened to me lately, please take care of yourself, and I love you too”

Alex knew from the oats he took that from this day forward, he’s life will be full of darkness and only Sandra will be the light in which he can see the world that the creator has made for mankind.

Sandra came back from the market and rush to check her phone. She was so happy to see the text message, she read it and place the phone on her chest smiling “ I love you so much Alex” she said to her room rather than to Alex.

"Who are you talking to?” her little brother rush into her room.

“Will you stop that?, Why must you enter my room without knocking?”

“Am sorry, I heard you talking to someone”

“And so?”

“You bought a phone!, Am going to tell mum” Sandra look at the phone “ Oh shit.. . shit..” she rushed her brother and lock the door.

“Am going to kill you if you don’t keep your mouth shut”

“You have a phone?”

"Yes I do, but I can explain, is my friend who bought it for me so don’t tell mother anything”

Her brother’s eyes were just shiny like a thief, and Sandra knew that no matter what she say her brother is still going to tell their mother.

"Ok.. ok. Take this, and don’t tell mother ok” she hand him some money and he was so happy.

“Am not telling mum anything, thank you for this money, I will go to school with it on Monday” he said smiling at Sandra and she force a smile “ok.. yes, you can go to school with it, but if you mistakenly tell mother I will not give you money again”
