Chapter 16 You can't date her

"Let me see you for a second”. Clara took Alex aside and start reprimanding him.

“What are you doing Alex?”

“What does it look like I’m doing?”

“Are you dating her?”. Alex turned to look at Sandra and wondered if they were dating,

“Yes” he said facing his sister standing tall.

“Ok.. ok.. Clara said,  pacing back and forth “look I know you don’t understand what I was trying to explain to you but you can’t date her”

 “Why?”

Sandra turned to look at them. She can see them but she can’t hear what they’re saying and she knew that whatever they’re saying is not really good for her.

“Don’t you think it’s time for you to speak in a clear terms? Because that girl in there is the girl that I have falling for and you cannot tell me who to fall in love with. No one can stop me from loving her” Alex said with a rumpled face.

“Well I’m sorry Alex but, that girl is not fit for who you are and what you are going to become”

“You can’t tell me who I am and you can’t tell me who to become. I am who I choose to be” Alex said and walk out on his sister.

Clara half-smiled “If only you know” she said to the already departed Alex.

“Is everything ok? Don’t you think I should go?” Sandra ask Alex so anxious.

“No, you don’t have to be afraid, I'm  here ok and you have nothing to be afraid of” Alex told Sandra walking close to her and holding her hands he brought her close to himself and hug her. "Don’t be afraid" he whispers in her ears.

Sandra nods.

“Alex you need to get ready we are leaving tomorrow” Clara shouted from outside. Alex and Sandra could hear her from inside.

“I’ve heard you can you go to sleep?” Alex shouted back at his sister and then turned to Sandra.

 “I will be leaving tomorrow I hope you will wait for me?” Alex ask Sandra, knowing fully well that he might be making a very big mistake of asking Sandra to wait for him. Although he was still nervous of what he’s going to find out but he is determined to keep Sandra as his own.

 “Yes I promise I’ll wait for you but please promise me you won’t forget about me when you get there”

“I promise you nothing like that will happen, I cross my heart" Alex said to Sandra taking her face in his hands and kissing her. Then she kiss him back.

“Do you mind?” he asked Sandra with eyes full of desire.

“About what?”

 “If we make love?” he ask looking at her with so much longing 

 “What! Now?” she ask coiling away from him.

“Yes, now" he whispers. Wondering if is something new to her because he can remember Brian and her dating so why is she so nervous?.

“I…I.. I mean. Ok, if you promise not to hurt me. Because I don’t want to give my virginity to someone who will hurt me. I promised myself to keep it for my husband.
