Apologizing to my girlfriend
Anna was currently opening the door to her house when she received a call from Mo Xing. She smiled and then put everything down to pick up her phone. There was a cool breeze making her hair dance around. She spoke first, "Hello."
There was a big pause before Mo Xing's deep voice came through, "I am sorry."
Anna's hand on the handle stilled while her face turned pale. She was thinking of the worst case scenario. Was Mo Xing tired of her?
Was he going to break up with her right now?
Where would that leave her then?
She really liked him. Just when she thought about all of these, his voice sounded once again, "That day, over the phone call, I am sorry. Were you offended?"
His voice was deep and sultry and it immediately calmed Anna's nerves. She exhaled a breath she did not know she was holding in, "I am at home, do you want to come over and talk about it?"
Mo Xing was silent for a few seconds and then, "Okay."
