Night's Mission

The sky was dark, and Ace was ready to break into the cave. He lurched around for a bit trying to find out if anyone was around. There was about 2 people guarding the entrance of the cave but Ace didn't know if anyone was inside. He tried getting closer, trying to tell if the cave was empty or not.

Ace thought to himself, "This treasure must be really important if it needs so much protection."

Slowly he walked up to the two men but he made sure that turned himself invisible. Carefully he walked passed the two guards and entered the cave. He looked around and saw that the secret cave was not open, it was going to be hard for him open it up without the guards noticing. Not to worry though, Ace had a plan. He walked next the two guards with something a rock in his hands, he placed that rock infront of them. The two guards looked over and saw something flying in the air infront of them. One of them placed the lantern forwards and saw a rock floating there. They were dazed for a moment, but then they looked at each other, screamed and then ran away, throwing the lantern of the floor. Ace picked up the lantern and smirked, "That was easy." Ace knew that they would come back and with more people so he had to be quick.

He proceeded to walk into the cave and searched for the lever, he then pulled on it. Ace was cautious of his surroundings. Quickly he rushed to the area with the painting's. He had thought of what the man said before about there being a ritual that would get rid of the Phoenix. Looking deeply at the painting, Ace pulled something out from his bag, it was a book.

Ace and Fu were riding on the horses when said that he would go back to the cave, Fu then called him crazy.

"Why would you return to that place it's dangerous?" Asked Fu.

"I want to know more about this Phoenix." Answered Ace.

"Do what you want, but don't drag me along with you."

"I won't, I'll go by myself."

Fu reached inside his bad and pulled out a book and handed it to Ace.

"This might help you." Fu said.

"Thanks." Ace stared at the book.

"It's a book on ancient translation, maybe you could find out something."

P R E S E N T

Ace opened the book up and tried looking for symbols that might look like the ones on the wall. Something caught his eye, a symbol which stood out. When he looked in the book for it, It meant peace. The symbol was a flower with many layers, it was very eye catching and beautiful.

Ace thought deeply as to what this could have meant. Maybe the Phoenix wanted peace? Or maybe the world wanted peace from the Phoenix? There are too many things peace could stand for and Ace had to figure which one it was to find out the actual truth.
