Tyler had a dismal expression on his face. His bleeding back of his hand caught Cielo's attention, and she gasped, her mouth wide open. "You..."
Any unusual ingredients did not taint the cuisine. Why would he take a risk and injure himself?
Tyler turned his back on her and was ready to walk away when his mobile phone rang. He didn't answer it.
He looked down at his phone for a moment. Because the number was unknown to him, he immediately disconnected the call and hung up the phone.
Then he said to Cielo, "Let's go in."
She could hear a note of constraint in his voice. In addition, he had a threatening expression on his face.
Sensing danger, Cielo felt a pang of fear and silently moved back into the room. She debated whether or not to lock him out of the house while holding the door half-closed with one hand.
Tyler was utterly oblivious to her anguish since his mobile phone rang again.
However, the phone screen didn't display an odd number, but instead the name 'Arthur Stone.'
Tyler picked up the phone without a second thought. He answered the phone, completely ignoring Cielo's presence, and said, "What is he contacting me for?"
"He's asking you to bring Madam Cielo home for dinner tonight," said Arthur, who was on the other end of the phone line.
"Ha!" Tyler made a sneering face. "Don't be worried by his phone calls the next time you see him."
"All right, he's not the one who pays me anyhow," Arthur agreed with him, stating, "He's not the one who pays me anyway."
After hanging up the phone, Tyler glanced up and saw Cielo stumbling at the front entrance.
"Were you eavesdropping?"
Cielo shook her head immediately, "No."
She reasoned that provocation would not be the best course of action at this point.
"Can you tell me why you're still standing there?" After that, Tyler took a step forward and looked at her condescendingly. Then he said, a little lasciviously, "Have you made up your mind to give up on Tyler and be with me?"
When Cielo heard it, she immediately turned around and locked the door behind her.
Tyler did not seem to be moved in the least by her heinous deeds.
He had been here for the previous two days because he wanted to know whether the guy he had been pursuing the other day was still here.
Because that individual was no longer present, there was no need for him to continue to reside at Cielo's residence.
Furthermore, he could tell Cielo was quick-witted and pleasant, which was a plus for him. Thus, he made the decision to leave her alone for the time being, confident that she would not be a problem to his scheme.

Tyler had arrived at the alley's entrance, and Arthur was waiting for him.
The moment Arthur saw Tyler, he made his way over to him with determination. "Boss, are you all right?" he said, a tinge of concern on his expressionless features.
Tyler removed his hand from Arthur's grasp with a wave of his hand. "I'm fine."
Tyler got into his vehicle, and Arthur opened the door for him. After getting into the car, he leaned his head back and asked Arthur flatly, "Has he been calling you for the past few days?"
Knowing who Tyler was referring to, Arthur nodded, "Mr. Smith told me that you'd blocked his number, but when he called you with a different number, you didn't answer them. That's why he decided to contact me instead."
"Alright." It wasn't the first time anyway.
"I just got a phone call from Mr. Smith, who informed me that you were not bringing Madam Cielo back for dinner and that he would contact her himself,"
For a brief while, Tyler couldn't believe what he was hearing.
After a lengthy period of time, Arthur could eventually hear him say, "Up to him."
....................................
Cielo's phone rang just as she was about to start washing the dishes after she completed her supper.
It was an unknown number.
However, since it had been ringing for a lengthy period, it did not seem to be a nuisance call.
"Good day, my name is Cielo."
"I am Tyler's father, Felix Smith."
