Harrison sat on the piano bench as he made no eyes contact with anyone.
Actually, he hasn't made any eye contact with anyone since he stood on the stage.
He opened the fall board of the authentic black grand piano and ran his hands over the keyboard elegantly, each of his moves was an embodiment of perfection.
He ran his fingers over the keyboard again as if he were trying to do something, most of the girls, even the teachers heart shuddered and a tingling sensation ran all over their body giving them goosebumps, in a good way.
Then… Harrison began to play the piano, a keynote after another, slowly yet inspirationally that it drove most girls to tears.
They had no idea what song he was playing, but it filled their hearts with so much pleasure that they were moved to tears.
Delilah, on the other hand, felt strange, that song… that song… why does she have a weird feeling that there was something more to that song? As she thought of the possibility, a sudden headache crashed on her that she held her head immediately, the pain was so excruciating that she tugged on her hair, wincing in pain.
Amy snapped out of her fantasies with Harrison when she noticed Delilah.
"What's wrong? Delilah, are you okay? Why are you holding your head? Does it hurt there? Or is the noise too much? Do you want to go home?…" Amy continued to load her with questions, but she was in so many pains that she couldn't hear a single thing… until, 'ding! dong! dong! dong! dong! ding! ding!…' as if the song got louder in her ears, Delilah's headache began to calm, in fact, her whole body relaxed under the charm of the song.
She rests her back against the chair she sat and practiced her breathing exercises.
"Delilah what happened? You almost scared me to death… What happened to you" Amy asked the nth question that night.
Delilah said nothing and smiled reassuringly at Amy. She also didn't know what just happened. All she was trying to do was think of a possibility that that song wasn't just any type of song.
Delilah knows there's something peculiar about that song, she just couldn't place a finger on it, infact, she wasn't expecting the headache, and she also didn't know how the same song was able to fight the pain, but above it all she was grateful that the headache has gone….
