Chapter 14

　　Ethan's POV:

　　Today is the first day I'll be with Madelyn, so I got ready early. I did everything I could to acquire the deal, and Elvis was gracious enough to speak with me. I accepted without hesitation because I wished to be with her as well. She no longer avoids me, but I'm cautious because of a recent issue.

　　Everyone assumed she kissed me when we they saw us in the restaurant, but it was only a kiss. Katie was enraged with me, but I had no idea because the information from the article the day before had been incorrect.

　　"Oh, you look early now?" Katie asked as I made my way down the stairs.

　　"You're not going to work?" I asked and looked at the watch.

　　She grinned. "Do you think I can get in that my husband is dating another woman? God, your pictures all over social media together with that stupid Madelyn!" Katie in an irritated voice.

　　My forehead frowned. "Don't say those words to me, Katie." I sat down and the maid immediately served my food.
