Seeing each other again(2)

Bai Yun did not expect him to kiss her and panicked. She looked at him nervously, "Why are you kissing me?"

Bai Yun pushed open the door of the ward and saw Richard lying on the bed, which was even quieter as he was alone in the single ward. It was midnight and he seemed to be sleeping peacefully. Bai Yun's long-standing longing for him turned into tears, which rolled down like broken beads. She caressed Richard's sleeping face with her eyes, then hesitantly brought her hand to his face, her fingers sliding over his forehead, his eyebrows, his eyes, his nose and then resting on his soft lips. These were the lips that had taken Bai Yun's first kiss, the lips that had spoken happy words and laughed loudly, but now they were silent.

Bai Yun stared at Richard in disbelief, his mind blank.

Richard had woken up some time ago. He thought he was dreaming when he saw Bai Yun sleeping on the edge of the bed, but when he rubbed his eyes, he saw that Bai Yun was still there, and he thought she would never visit him again, but now she was beside him. He regretted what he had said earlier, but at the moment there was only Bai Yun and himself. He looked at Bai Yun tenderly, and all the sweetness and longing he had felt for her came back to him. As he thought this, a light smile appeared on his lips. He tried to give Bai Yun some of the blanket that was covering him, and was pulling at it when Bai Yun woke up.

What excited Bai Yun was that Richard was awake and he was looking at her with the same softness in his eyes. The air seemed a little tense and bashful as they hadn't been alone in such close quarters for a long time, and Bai Yun said, "Sorry, I don't know how I fell asleep. ..."

Richard winked and said, "I wish you could sleep more, you look like a little angel when you sleep ..."
