The cathedral was a stunning sight, adorned with exquisite floral decorations that did nothing but added to it's grandeur. "We are here today," The priest began, his tone rich and commanding. "To witness the union of Manuel and Yvette in holy matrimony". "Before we proceed, if there is anyone here who knows of any lawful impediment to this marriage, speak now or forever hold your peace" . . . . . . "I object!". " On what grounds do you object, young man?". This marriage cannot proceed as it would be unlawful. A married woman cannot marry again not when I , her husband is still hale and healthy". Yvette Jasmin, a rising and well-known actress was over the moon about her upcoming wedding. She flew to Paris for her bachelorette party with her friends, however while drunk she haphazardly married an unknown guy who turns out to be her Brother-in-law, the man who had secretly harbored feelings for her for decades. But now entangled, he couldn't help it. Crashing her wedding was another thing, possessively claiming her was another. Whosoever wanted to get to her would have to pass through this wife slave husband.
Without any words, Ezekiel turned and walked out of the house, the door slamming shut behind him.
The rain poured in a heavy downpour as he got into the car, his mind a whirlwind of emotions. He drove in silence, the world a blur of light and shadows.
Before long, he found himself at the gates of a grand mansion, he stumbled out of the car soaked to the bone as he made his way inside.
Eriq, a tall man with a noble demeanor was in the middle of reading a magazine when he heared the door open. He looked up to see Ezekiel, drenched and clearly in distress.
"Hey man, what happened. You look like hell". Eriq exclaimed it Ezekiel ignored him and didn't answer, instead he made his way to the bar in the corner of the room pouring himself a generous amount of whiskey as he took his seat on the stool.
"This is related to her, right?. Only her can make you loose your composure this way ". Eriq mumbled watching in silence as his friend chunked the whiskey in a go and immediately poured another.
By the fifth glass, Eriq gently placed a hand on his shoulder, intent in stopping him.
"Drinking won't help you man!".
Zeke gazed at him, his eyes bloodshot filled with guilt and pain. He then shook his head, his voice cracking as he spoke.
"Perhaps I shouldn't have done this, I shouldn't have been selfish. Now she hates me , she. . .she said I was her biggest lifetime mistake . . ."
"If we were to start allocating blame then I think I'm the one who's guilty for all of this. I was the one who drugged you with that aphrodisiac, I wanted you to move on and forget her but . ."
Eriq expression softened with sympathy as he helped Zeke to relax on the couch.
"Besides we both know Manuel isn't the right man for her. He's far from being her Mr perfect. Even if after that night you never showed up before her, she still bound to remember moreover marrying Manuel would be like falling into a deep abyss, an unredeemable path. Even I couldn't help but pity her not to talk of you who have had her in your heart for decades".
Eriq continued patiently. "I know you two must have had an argument but this isn't the way to handle this situation. It's not good for either of you. The deed had already been done, all you need now is a conversation. You guys need to talk, but not like this".
Zeke slumped back on the couch helplessly, his hands falling onto his head lost in thoughts as he stared at the ceilings ahead. He felt lost and unsure as though there was nothing left to salvage. Indeed only her could make a wolf like him become a kitten.
Eriq took his seat beside him, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"You've come way too long to give up, she's been in your heart for decades". Eriq advised. "Go back home, sleep it off and when you're sober talk to her. Besides she'll soon realize you've made the right decision for her, saving her from marrying such a useless man".
Zeke nodded in agreement and closed his eyes, the alcohol and exhaustion slowly pulling him into unconsciousness.
A LUXURIOUS MANSION.
The room was dimly lit with the soft glow of a single lamp, casting a warm golden hue over the room. The air was thick with the scent of expensive perfumes and the faint jazz music playing softly in the background.
Manuel , tall and well dressed stood by the window his hands stuck in his pants pocket as he stared out into the night, his mind swirling in a pool of emotions.
Behind him, a woman beautiful and elegant was sprawled on the plush chaise. Her eyes, sharp and observant filled with adoration never left him as she slipped the glass of wine in her hands whilst gazing at his back profile.
She was donning a high slitted gown and with the way she was seated, she revealed just enough to entice and not to satisfy him.
Then she stood up quietly, crossing the distance between them and when she got to him, she back hugged him. Her purring voice sleek and smooth as she complained.
"You didn't invite me over only to watch the view alone, right?" .
Manuel jerked out of his reviere and smiled at her, his hands tucking a strand of her rave locks in place.
"I'm just a little overwhelmed and tired after a long day. Missed me ?". He asked, grinning as he slapped her soft bottomcheeks and she giggled in response.
"To death". She grinned. "I missed you so much and right now I'm so proud of you. You know not how excited I am after touching down and hearing of the situation on ground".
"And here I was thinking you would indeed marry her, I was so annoyed when I left you know but after hearing the news from my manager , I feel relieved. I knew you'll never let me down".
"Huh?". Manuel who was resting his head on her fully endowed bossom , looked up at her lost.
"Didn't you hire that man to come and ruin the wedding, don't be shy now darling". She smiled circling her hands around his chest.
"What man". He looked up at her then the realization hit him and he couldn't help but clench his fist tightly, he still felt his ego hurting as he recounted the event. "I didn't hire Ezekiel, guess it was fate".
"Ohh". Nadia could only nod.
"Ezekiel is my older brother, my stepbrother. He's been living abroad all this while so you might not know him".
"I thought as much". Nadia nodded. "But I'm still surprised because that means you wanted things to go with the flow and not stop the wedding. Did you even put me into consideration?". She asked, her pitch growing higher.
"I made my decision after putting everyone and everything into thorough consideration. Afterall I can't just back off from the wedding on the wedding day, my image and reputation is gonna be ruined".
"My initial thoughts was to marry her and then divorce after a year , I'm not that stupid and cruel to hire someone to ruin the day and her reputation". Manuel concluded.
"You don't think you're cruel". Nadia laughed. "Forget it, you've been even more cruel towards her but I love and adore the cruel you the most". She purred seductively placing her hands on his chest , her touch was light but possessive.
"You see, even the heavens are on our side. You've been thinking of a way to get rid of her and ta-da, here it comes. She's such a slutty woman pretending to be innocent , I really can't believe she did something of the sort but I don't care".
Moving her hands along his chest, she continued. "She couldn't offer you anything- not power, not influence despite being from a renowned family. She's entirely worthless. But with me by your side, you'll have everything you've ever wished for, power, wealth, influence, status. It'll all be your's and that I'll make sure of, what she dare not offer, I'll".
Manuel looked down at her, his eyes distant but he didn't speak much. He just nodded indifferently, a detachment that even she noticed but she ignored it, her fingers provocatively trailing up to his chest and pulling him closer.
She leaned in, her lips brushing against his as she whispered. "Forget about her Manuel, I'm your Miss Right, the one who'll give you everything you desire".
Without waiting for his reply, she kissed him hard and passionately, trying to pull him into the moment as though putting her words into action.
It was not long before he responded with equal vigor, his hands finding their way to her waist lifting her onto the king-sized bed. The duo tumbled together onto the silk sheets, a frenzy of need and desire overtaking them.
As they moved together, wallowing in the frenzy of passion as the heat between them grew intense. Nadia moans of pleasure filled the room, her nails digging into Manuel's back as she clung onto him, her body writhing as she moved in sync with him.
But as he reached the heigh of passion, he moaned breathlessly.
"Yvette, fvck you, only I am allow to own you. Fvck you, tonight I'm going to teach you a lesson". He slapped her bottom as he suddenly became aggressive.
