Chapter 12

"Just what do you want from me?" Elisa glares at Sameul.

Sameul's holds on Elisa's arms tightens Elisa flinched from pain and closes her eyes but she couldn't see the pain in Sameul's eyes.

Sameul walks out of lift as the lift door opens and Elisa stays in the lift as the lift door closes once again. Sameul didn't look back and walks continuously.

Elisa reaches home and takes bath, she doesn't understand what is going inside Sameul's brain.

Elisa goes to office early in 7:00 am as she have to attend an important meeting with a client. She meets James as he is also going to meet client with her in other city. City B takes 5 hours to reach from City A, so they are going to meet the client in noon and returning in evening.

The company has booked a car for them to travel, James is driving a car and Elisa is looking at files that they are going to present to client, James looks at Elisa who's focus is on files in her hands.

"Do you know I have lived in City A before I move to City B?" James speaks as he looks straight in the road, Elisa looks at James before closing the files in her hand.

"I have grown up here before I went abroad to study further from the looks of the road this city has changed a lot" James looks carefully at the road.

"Everything's need to change according to time and situation" Elisa looks at James, they both smiles at each other. "Yes, everything's need change." James also repeats Elisa's words.

They reached at designated venue at 2 p.m since they arrive earlier than time, they ate lunch and check their files once again.

The client came at 4 p.m which was their appointed time the meeting ended at 6 p.m. The meeting ended on good terms and their contract was agreed by both parties so, James was quite satisfied with the meeting.

James took Elisa to his favourite restaurant and they have their lunch, it was already 9 p.m when they got into the car to depart from city A. James talks about his school days and jokes about how he and his friends used to fool around.

"You know, me and my friends fooled a new student to beat the dean of our hostel and he beat the dean with hockey stick till the dean was hospitalized for broken arms?" James slightly smirks as he talks about old days.

"Everything is joke for you, isn't it?" Elisa rolls her eyes.

"Sometimes I do get serious but some people doesn't believe me" James shudders his shoulder as he looks at Elisa.

Elisa doesn't give reply and looks outside of the window, there was total silent inside the car, "How's your former boss now? James speaks carefully as he observes Elisa's expression.

"I don't know, I haven't contacted her" Elisa avoids James eyes she speaks.

James presses his lips, "Are they couple?"

"Who?" Elisa turns her head again toward James.

" Your boss and her friend in hospital?", James hands taps continuously on steering wheel.

"Oh, they are engaged." Elisa speaks as if she doesn't care about them.

The hands that are tapping on steering wheel relaxes the smile on James face isn't clearly seen by Elisa because of Night lights.

James dropped Elisa at her building at 2.30 am,

"Goodnight James" Elisa gets out of the car and says to James, "Goodnight Elisa" James also says to Elisa.

James sees that Elisa has left her mobile phone in the car as he was starting car. He tries to call her but she has walked a little far from car. So, he walks out of the car and runs toward her.

"Elisa" Elisa turns as she hears her name, " You forget your mobile phone just now in car" James speaks as he notices slightly messy hair of Elisa

who was sleeping in the car just now.

"Oh, I forget, Thank you" slightly smiling Elisa tooks the mobile phone and looks up at James.

James gestures to her that her hair is messy by pointing towards her and making his own hair.

"Oh.." Elisa fixes her hair. They both look at each other as their gaze meets they both smiles.

"Goodnight, James" Elisa turns as she fixes her hair.

James also returns to his car and goes to his home.

This view is seen by Sameul from the seventh floor who hasn't sleep for minute because he was worried for Elisa.

Since Elisa have to report to office at 10 am she sets the alarm clock of 7 am and sleeps.

Elisa is in good mood today because the project that their company wants is finally in its last process, so she makes breakfast for herself , gets ready.

Elisa locked her door, the keys falls out from her hands as she was putting them inside her bag, she picks up her keys but her eyes notice the shiny little thinks in the floor. She takes few steps and picks up that shiny thing.

She picks up the shiny cufflink and looks carefully at them she remembers that she have seen them somewhere but doesn't remember where so she just tooks them to the lost and found.

She was in hurry so she quickly runs toward the bus which was about to leave.
