22. Broken bonds

Elton had given me a very disapproving look before yelling at me "you do not get to make these decisions for my daughter. Do not forget that you have signed her to me. You have given up your rights to be her mother and you have made this decision the day you had given her up for adoption. I am her legal guardian now and just because I have been lenient with you does not give you the right to think that you will do as you please. Now you will have to make a decision as to whether you want Milan in your life or will you continue to be a paid servant for Rianna."

With that I walked back into the bathroom washed my face after crying, put my hair up and changed into a plain tee and jeans. I went over to him without saying a word I took Ria from him and walked away.

I no longer wanted to speak to him after such a low blow I decided that I will do anything for my daughter. With that I video called Milan and spoke to her letting her see baby Ria and making up an excuse that we are headed back home soon and that Elton had already made plans for him and Ria and that if any of the plans changed I would surely bring her to meet Milan. I disconnected the call, fed Ria and changed her and after a whole lot of giggles she had finally fallen asleep once again.

While she was asleep I tidied the room and I started packing our things deciding it was time to start acting like a paid maid. I had gotten dressed wearing a pair of blue ripped jeans with a black top and black heels. I had informed Elton that im going out and headed out to the local pub where I had texted Wesley earlier to meet me along with Melinee who was also one of my close friends. Elton had tried to call me several times but I had just rejected his calls and switched of my phone.

After a few drinks we had hit the club deciding to be wreckless i had bought us a bottle of alcohol that costed twenty seven thousand dollars allowing us entry into the VIP section of the club.

Not long after Elton had showed up, I glared at him and switched my phone back on to text him WHERE THE HELL IS RIA??? to which he replied that she was fine and that she was with the babysitter.

I began dancing with a very good looking guy causing Elton to glare at him. He went to speak with Wesley for a few minutes. The song was over so I headed to the table where I had poured myself another drink causing Elton to become really angry.

Elton had grabbed me by the waist and dragged me out of the club taking me back to the hotel room where he had kissed me really roughly saying "So you wanted to dance with that guy, soon I will give you something that will make you never want to leave me Myrah. Pretending not to care I had removed my jeans and top, switched on the music player in our room and started dancing for him in my underwear and everytime he would get close to me I would go to change the song. Finally he carried me and threw me into the shower and left me there.

When I got out I had only a towel around me but he was gone. I got into bed without changing

The next day I had woken up feeling really crappy due to all the alcohol I had drank. Elton was already awake laying in bed next to me. My head and my heart was pounding. I had rushed into the bathroom emptying all my stomach contents and Elton had been there rubbing my back. I had then taken a shower and Elton had reassured me that Ria was fine and still asleep and that I should get some sleep.

I had spent the rest of the evening with Ria who had been crying as she was unwell and had come down with a fever. Feeling really shitty as Elton had taken her to the doctor whilst I was asleep it also made me feel negligent towards Ria. I really wanted to punch Elton in the face for taking her without me but his response was "Myrah dont overthink it you are to her what people would call a nanny. Feeling rather angry I stormed out after asking which was the other room taking my stuff.

The next day i had not seen Elton the entire day and Ria was feeling much better now. I was about to put her to sleep when he came in and apologized for not coming to see her the entire day as he was busy an urgent matter at his company needed to be taken care of. I responded by saying that she is much better now and that as the nanny i get paid to take care of her when hes not around so he doesn't need to apologize.

I had then told him that since he is here now my shift officially ends and that I was going out and with that I headed to the bathroom.
