Chapter 668: A Day in the Life of Charlotte Cooper
The following morning, Henry Russell was nearly awoken by the alarm. Glancing at Charlotte Cooper, he moved his numbed arm, causing him to grimace slightly.
In order not to disturb Charlotte's rest, he carefully withdrew his arm, which felt as if it had been bitten by countless ants not long after.
He vigorously shook his arm before rising from the bed and quietly closing the door. He then walked into the kitchen for the first time, wearing an apron around his waist.
He deftly prepared the food, and in no time, a sumptuous breakfast was ready on the table. After breakfast, he returned to his room to change, only to find Charlotte still asleep.
He gently shook her a few times, his voice soft, "Charlotte! Charlotte! Time for breakfast."
The person on the bed stirred and let out a murmur before opening her sleepy eyes, "What time is it?"
"It's already seven, I've made breakfast."
