"Mommy, mommy, look, look. Daddy too, look," Mo Chao Yu and Mo Ching Lin called at the same time and jumped as they reached the bed where both Daniel and Laotian were on. Daniel was on his iPad doing his new hobby while Laotian was beside him on his laptop reading some emails when the twins suddenly arrived both with disheveled looks and papers in their hands.
Daniel sighed at the twins, putting his tablet down while looking at their dirty uniforms but he later smiled and urged them to climb on the bed.
"What is that? Did the two of you get stars again?" Daniel asked with a soft smile and picked up the papers and just as he expected, they indeed got stars making Daniel extremely happy.
"Yep. Teacher asked us to draw our family today so we drew everyone, hehe." The four years old Chao Yu said excitedly, even spreading his little limbs to show that they indeed drew everyone.
"Uhuh, and then Teacher asked us to introduce everyone one by one," Ching Li added proudly.
"Oh really, there's too many of us here, did you not get confused?" Daniel asked with a chuckle. This time Laotian scooches over to see the drawing as well.
"Nope see. It's not confusing at all. This is Mommy, this is Chao Yu then me, then older brother, Little Eli, cousin Lan, and uncle Luu and Uncle Ian… here are grandma, grandpa Chen, grandpa George, and Great-Grandpa. Then momma and poppa," Ching Li pointed at each drawing while Daniel listened patiently, still chuckling but later he slightly frowned seeing his husband wasn't mentioned at all.
"Ahuh, here's uncle Zi and uncle Fyre and then uncle Mav, uncle Quinn, and uncle Ash… oh, and here's grandpa David. It's not confusing at all, Mommy." Chao Yu nodded at his twin before introducing the rest with a huge smile.
"Uhmm, Chao Yu, Ching Li, where's Daddy?" Daniel asked and that's exactly what was in Laotian's mind. Where was he in the drawing? He expected he would be near Daniel but the picture that represented his wife wasn't close to a man except for their children. Laotian frowned at his offspring and waited for their answer when the older twin suddenly took out another paper and showed a single drawing of a man who was in a suit.
"Oh, here's daddy. There wasn't enough space so we decided to draw Daddy here," Ching Li explained but that did not make Laotian happy at all. Out of all the family members that they could separate, they chose him. It was very clear that the rivalry between them was strong.
"You… No desserts tonight." Laotian said with his hard unimpressed expression. Meanwhile, as soon as the twins heard their father they both instantly whined.
"Wahh… Noooooo~ Why!!!? Daddy is so meannnnn~" The two complained in unison, their expression looked like they were betrayed and their eyes began to water. Watching this, Daniel couldn't help but sigh. Well, he does understand why Laotian was upset but he didn't really need to punish the kids for such a silly reason.
"Laotian, isn't that too much?" Daniel commented softly as he hugged the twins who are now bawling their eyes out.
"It is not. I am their father but they drew me on a separate page. Even David got drawn on the same paper as you. The message is clear to me, these two are clearly testing my patience," Laotian complained with a serious expression even though what he was saying sounded so childish. When Daniel heard him, he didn't know whether to laugh or cry because there were also a lot of instances where the kids—especially the twins—isolated Laotian. Daniel finds it cute and funny but now he thought he should have ended this needless rivalry thing since he loves all of them equally.
"Mommy should sleep with Chao Yu and Ching Li tonight. Daddy is so meaaan~ So mean~ We don't want Daddy," The two continued to cry which gave Laotian a sudden headache. If he could, he would have tossed the two out of their room and not cared at all.
"Are you sure? We're staying at grandma and grandpa's house tonight and your cousin Lan will be there as well." Daniel informed. They were actually just waiting for the twins to arrive before they could finally leave. It's been a while since they visited and it's the weekend so it was the perfect time to visit. Plus, there's a photograph that just came out about Fyre with an actor he worked with that made the elders devastated thinking that Tian Zi might have mistreated Fyre and the Omega had left him.
Of course, there's a chance that this could have been just a setup or a publicity stunt for the movie they're both making but both elders want to know the truth from Tian Zi himself. Needless to say, he wanted to know too because why not? He liked Fyre and it would have been such a shame if he broke up with Tian Zi. Well… not that he believed the photo but just in case. At least the kids will be there to help their grandparents feel a little bit better.
"... Hnnn… I want to sleep with Mommy this time," Chao Yu pouted as he wiped his tears while his twin nodded as well. He sounded so conflicted with his decision but alas, both still wanted to sleep with Daniel. On the other hand, when Laotian heard his son his expression became even harder that in the end, he sighed helplessly as his eyes met his wife's.
"Okay, but first you should clean up so we can go already. I'll just keep this drawing with me and keep it safe. You two did a very good job but next time don't try and bully your daddy like this, I love you all equally, okay?" Daniel said sweetly and kissed the two on their cheeks and foreheads. They were reluctant to leave at first but they soon did and when Daniel wasn't looking, they scoffed at their father flaunting the fact that they'd won. Of course, this ticked Laotian as he realized it was all an act and the twins had planned it all along that he wondered how these barely five-year-old boys managed to think as such.
"Those mischievous little…" Laotian mumbled but didn't finish his words because he was an adult and an adult should not fight with kids, especially since it's his own kid. He wanted to deny it but they were exactly a copy of him.
"Laotian, you dummy. They're your kids," Daniel chuckled, seeing the irritated expression the Alpha was doing.
"Urg, we never get along…" Laotian groaned, walking towards Daniel who stood up to meet his husband so he could comfort him.
"That's not true, both of them look up to you and rely on you a lot… It's just that… they got your jealous personality so they want to monopolize me," Daniel defended chuckling because it is true. While the twins like him a lot, when it comes to complicated things, they usually don't look for him and instead go to their father.
For example, when they were one time bullied at school about how they looked slightly different from each other despite being twins they'd run to their father and complain about it; Sometimes when they're frustrated at school because of another classmate, they would run to Laotian; And when they visit other countries or places and the two become afraid, they would also come to the Alpha.
It's a bit disappointing that the kids wanted to protect him instead rather than rely on him but Daniel was still happy overall that the children treasured him.
"There's no way they got that to me. It's probably Hanlu," Laotian mumbled again, rubbing his face against Daniel. He wanted to stay like that for a while but a sudden call not so far away from them made them separate before they soon looked at little Eli. He was fully sitting and holding onto the bars of the crib looking at them innocently and babbled laughing when both his parents looked at him.
"You should go with the twins and talk to them, I'll take care of Eli," Daniel suggested and Laotian just nodded.

"Ugh! You should have told me we were invited to come here today!" Fyre complained, fixing himself in the mirror, making sure his clothes were covering all the hickies Tian Zi had put on him. If he knew that they were to come at the Mo estate, he would not have indulged in that morning activity and tired himself even more. He thought that he'd get to sleep for the rest of the day so they did it for a couple of rounds even though he couldn't feel his hips anymore.
"I was about to but you distracted me so I forgot," Tian Zi replied, waiting for his lover to finish. They're in the car right now in front of his parent's house and he's just waiting for Fyre to be ready.
"Ugh, my face looked so exhausted," Fyre commented, touching his face. He never cared about his look but he always made sure that he looked decent when he's meeting Mr. and Mrs. Mo. Alas, he did this to himself.
On the other hand, Fyre shifted his gaze to Tian Zi and he felt so annoyed that even though the Alpha hadn't had a proper sleep yet and was probably exhausted from their all-day sex frenzies, he still looked good—extremely good—in fact, he's even glowing.
"Fuck you!" Fyre suddenly said, his eyes slightly squinted as if he was dazzled by the Alpha beauty causing Tian Zi to widen his eyes before he burst into laughter. Fyre told him he wasn't going to curse at him but now he's doing it all of a sudden.
"Yeah, I love you too… Are you finally ready to go, my princess? I'll open the door for you," Tian Zi just said, still chuckling, which instantly made Fyre blush since that very face was also his weakness. He had always liked pretty faces although his subject for attraction used to be for Omegas.
"Tch. Fine, let's go."
"Lucky bastard," watching the Alpha step out of the car and quickly jog to his corner, Fyre couldn't help but whisper as the stubborn blush on his face didn't disappear. Even when Tian Zi was finally there to open his door for him and assist him, the blush still persisted and it was annoying because he knew the Alpha had noticed it.
"Careful," Tian Zi warned, quickly wrapping his arms around his lover's waist. Normally, Fyre would have pushed him away but this time he didn't because his hip was truly in pain and he needed the extra help. Yesterday, it was easy for him to ignore it but today, it just kept throbbing as if he had done an extreme workout without warming up properly… which he actually did although it was in bed.
Meanwhile, oblivious to them, everyone in the mansion had been peeking at their car waiting for the two to finally come out. It has been a while since the front gate security announced that the two had arrived but they still hadn't stepped out even when five minutes had passed.
"Something definitely had happened," Hanlu mumbled with little Eli in his arms. Actually, he already talked to Julie Walker and asked what's that photo about and although she said it was a publicity stunt, Hanlu refused to believe that because there's no way an Omega would look at Alpha as if they had just finished a passionate session like in the photo. He knows because he dated a lot of women, men, and Omegas, and that face definitely says something.
"Didn't you say it was a publicity stunt? His manager said so," Laura said upset while the rest just shifted all their gazes to the Alpha since he might be on for something.
"Well yeah, but don't you think that photo says a lot? Do you think Fyre would put up with something like that? I would understand if he and that actor ate dinner across from each other but that photo clearly tells us more," Hanlu defended and it actually convinced everyone.
"Even if not now, our Xiao Zi is definitely losing against a nobody," Hanlu ended with a hard expression. Even though he's usually full of silly jokes, Hanlu was still the president of Mo Empire and as the president, he's also a very persuasive person. Be it in his words, his tone, or his expression, one just couldn't help but believe him. Of course with an exception of Mo Laotian who just looked at the younger Alpha with his usual mundane face.
"T-Then what should we do? It's already surprising enough that he ended up dating someone," Laura said worriedly.
"We must make sure Fyre is well treated so that he'd never want to leave our Xiao Zi again. We have a lot of money so let's just buy him a lot of gifts and send him on expensive trips with Xiao Zi," Hanlu suggested, making Ian frown because he was pretty sure Fyre doesn't see Tian Zi for his or his family's money. He'd only feel burdened if he's gifted with expensive gifts and trips.
"Uhmm, how about we see and make sure first what is happening between them before jumping to a conclusion and ending up scaring the Omega?" Ian said while Daniel nodded. All Mos are Alphas so they wouldn't be able to understand Fyre to a deeper level while they know because they've bonded a lot and they're pretty close if not only because Fyre's busy with his new career.
"Yeah, let's trust both of them," Daniel added with a soft smile, making everyone nod. Since Ian and Daniel are Omegas, they should know what their fellow Omega best. Although they also didn't mind showering Fyre with gifts if that would keep him from leaving their incompetent and useless Xiao Zi.
