"Tobin! Tobin!" She called out his name, but he was gone. And was probably never coming back. She had seen that look in his eyes before. He was angry and in that state he was capable of doing anything. "You are ungrateful. After all the Lancaster have done for you. You have no right to be so angry! Do you think staying with your loser father would have been better? Look I know what I suffered as a kid. My supposed dad, your biological father was all I got and I dare say he failed in his responsibility!" Those were the exact words she had said to Tobin few minutes ago. Tobin was hurt. Sharon's Hunches.

"Monte Carlo fallacy! Monte Carlo fallacy!" Mrs Jason kept repeating. She was obviously frustrated as the students were not paying attention to her.

Mrs Jason's job was to teach chess as an elective subject for students of Green hill high school, despite the fact that the school management never pays much attention, and as a result the students also shared the same lackadaisical attitude towards the classes. And that was the reason she always felt so frustrated about her job. It was also the last day of high school for those set of students

Sitting at the far end of the class was 17 years old sharon Jackson. A very beautiful and attractive light skinned girl with blue eyes.

She was usually always interested in the chess class, but not today. She was in severe pain. Her left arm hurt for no medical reason, but deep down she knew what it meant. She had every reason to believe the ability was given to her by a woman that keeps appearing in her dreams.

She was worried because experience has taught her that whenever her left arm hurts for no reason then something really terrible was usually about to happen to either her or someone she loves.

The first time it happened in the past she had lost her dog Brooks, and next it was her uncle Anthony, and then her elder brother David. The death of brooks was the first, since she had been only 8 years old when it happened. On that day she ran to her dad when she started feeling the pains on her left arm. She had been taken to the hospital and a scan had been carried out, but nothing was found to be wrong with her. That evening Brooks was hit by a neighbor's car and died.

The second was her uncle Anthony. Although he had been sick for some time before his death. On the particular day he died, Sharon felt pains on her left hand exactly the same way it was on the day brooks died. This time she was 12 years old. It was then the words of the lady in her dream started making sense to her.

The lady who had appeared to her in her dream had asked her to she always heed to the hunches that will come from her left arm. The last time she had seen the lady had been after the death of Brooks.

Initially she had been scared of what was happening but then she had managed to convince herself that two incidents were not enough to make her think there was something special about the pain on her arm.

And then her brother had died when she was 15 years old.

That morning she had woken up with that intense pain on her left arm. She hadn't wanted to believe anything negative was going to happen that day and besides no one was sick that she knew of. It was not until she returned from school and she was told her elder brother who was in the army was killed by enemies troops. It then it dawned on her that she had special abilities which always brought sorrow to her or so she thought.

This time she was worried because the only loved ones she had left was her best friend, Ella and her dad. Her mum had died while giving birth to her.

She raised her head and scanned the classroom for Ella, and was happy when she saw her. That left her with one person to worry about, her dad.
