The Child Within

To keep away from chaos, Donovan quickly took Zoe away from the martial arts room. Gil quickly takes him to Zoe's room as Jace pulls out his phone to call on Richard. It happened in a blink of an eye. 

  Donovan seemed to be calm but deep inside he was raging in anger. He was angry that Gatsby was pressuring Zoe too much. That's what he sees. The thought that Zoe must kill just to protect herself and the people around her was indeed infuriating. Gatsby didn't think of Zoe's mental health. She must be really tired because she didn't complain a lot. She was also pressured but she didn't say a thing. 

  He gently put her down as the women of the family came with a basin with warm water. He wiped off the sweats as Lesley stopped him. 

"We will take care of her," Lesley said. Gil who didn't know Zoe's current condition was just by the door. 

  Gatsby entered as Donovan approached her.
