Keisha fidgeted with her fingers as she did her best to avoid the unreadable stare of the boy sitting across from her, his arms draped across the shoulders of his girlfriend who was oblivious to the thick tension in the room.
Of all the ways she thought her day would go, she'd never imagined that this would be this situation she'd find herself in.
Here she was hosting her high school bully and abuser, who turned out to be one of her closest friend's boyfriend, in a house that wasn't even hers.
Just when she thought things were looking up, life had to throw a curveball.
"This place is insane!" Steph gushed as she glanced around the lavish living room, unaware of the reality of the current situation. "I can't believe you didn't invite me sooner, Keish!"
