EPISODE 4

Third person POV

The students were trooping in to the school in groups, in their cars, etc. They all came to school early because the proprietor will be in school today. They were looking neat and decent. Then the bell went for general assembly in the school hall and everyone ran there. Roxanne and Bella were early so they sat in the front seat. They were all so anxious to see their proprietor since it had been 3 years since he came to their school instead it was his wife, Mrs Parker who will show up. It was said that he was on a long business trip. The proprietor has finally arrived and everyone stood up to recognize him. Then he started his speech after asking them to sit.

"Good day staffs ,non teaching staffs, students, board management and everyone else. I'm honored to meet my great GREEN WOOD HIGH SCHOOL in her best position. I appreciate the effort everyone put to it while I was away. As the third day of resumption I'll like to welcome everyone back to school" afterwards he advised the students and everyone. He announced Nana's withdrawal from the school and left the students to continue their school activities.

Roxanne POV

We all left the hall to our various classes. Our teacher entered the class to announce the class rep and assistant.

"Good morning class. As a result of the test yesterday, the nominees are Parker Chris and Miller Roxanne"

They class clapped and she continued "as for the seat arrangement, we all know that class rep and assistant are meant to sit together for better co-operation and progress so Ms Miller you have to move back to your previous seat."

I was dumbfounded but I had to obey before complain. I moved to his seat and sat down.

"How do you feel about me winning" he asked smirking

"I feel worse" I looked away and turned back "we aren't competing and you only won this seat course you sneaked your way around to be the class rep without writing any test" I said angrily and went out,as it was already break,to Miss Virtue's office. I knocked and went in.

" Good day Miss Virtue" I gree

" How are you Ms Miller" she asked

"I'm fine" I said smiling

" I know you are here to ask about how Chris got the position"

*Flashback*

Chris enters Miss Virtue's office angrily before the general gathering that morning.

"Morning Master Parker"

I'm not here for friendly greetings. I'm here to get the class rep and give the assistant to Roxanne"

"But the rightful people are Brown James and Jane Bella."

"Or lose your job" and he walked out

Present Roxanne POV

"Please Ms Miller I can't afford loosing my job" she said almost in tears. I felt pity for her and left. I didn't feel like eating so I decided to find a place to clear my head and I went to the garden and found James sitting alone on the bench. I sat on the bench with him to watch the flowers and I heard "look who we have here. The looser" I saw Chris walking up to me. I was about answering and the bell went so I left him standing alone and went for my next class Literature and I heard him laugh.I hissed

Class was interesting and the time went fast. Then the bell went. I packed my back and went to meet Bella

"Bella are you upset about something!" I asked when I saw her mood

"I was worried looking for you but I saw you with James enjoying" she said emphasizing on the 'enjoying'

"It's not what you think"

"Then it's what" I explained to her how I found out Chris threatened the teacher to make him the class rep and I the assistant instead of her and James and how I wanted to find a place to clear my head and I coincidentally found James

"I'll report this case to the disciplinary committee " Bella said angrily

"You will endanger Miss Virtue's job and even your admission. Please don't" I begged

" I don't mind. I just want to be with James"

"Then choose another way out without risking Miss Virtue's job please"

"I will" she hissed and I smiled. We walked home quietly and departed.

Roxanne POV

I got to school earlier than before so I can start the collection of names that Miss Virtue asked me to collect. I collected the names as they were walking in and it wasn't really stressful then the bell went.

"Are you done writing the names?" Bella asked

"Yh morning Bella" I said taking my books from my locker.

"Let's go to class Mr Daniel won't allow latecomers in " and we rushed to the class.

After school classes were over, I walked to Miss Virtue's office to submit the name list.

"Good day Miss Virtue. These are the names you requested for."

"Thanks Roxanne. You did a great job collecting the whole class names" she said smiling

"Thank you ma. I thought this is meant to be done by the class rep"

"You shouldn't bother Chris. Just continue your role you'll be rewarded. These are the flyers you will be distributing to the students tomorrow. It's a contest" I collected it and walked out after discussing some issues with her.

Bella POV

"Where the hell is this Roxanne" I said worriedly while looking for her. I sighted James and walked up to him "Hi James"

"Hi how may I help you" he asked not looking at me and I felt jealous cus if it were to be Roxie he'll be grinning ear to ear while talking to her.

"Hey Miss what do you want " I heard him say and I shrugged my thoughts away and smiled

"I wanted to ask if you perhaps know where Roxanne could be. I have been searching the whole school for her but...." I was interrupted

"Where did you check for her? You should have informed me earlier? Where did she leave for? When did she leave you?" I was bombarded by questions from him with his worried face.

James POV

I am damn scared now. If Chris is the one behind this I'll skin him alive. I searched everywhere for Roxie with her friend but we could not find her. Her friend was almost in tears so I had to console her. I pulled her close to my chest and caressed her head. "It's fine. We'll see her soon"I felt a different feeling below my stomach like I wanted more and I deeped my fingers into her hair slowly. She freezed for a second and I buried her head in my chest. I smiled and looked up then saw Roxanne walking towards us smiling.

"Hi guys" she said and her friend moved away from me immediately "You scared us. Where were you all this while?" Her friend asked standing akimbo " I'm sorry Bella I was with Miss Virtue" oh her name is Bella " mmm Bella you don't have to fight her. Thank God she is safe and you" I said facing Roxie "don't scare me like that again"I said scattering her hair "Aye aye captain" she said standing like a soldier and i laughed. I patted her head and winked at Bella before leaving them to meet Tyler since Chris was angry at us for no just reason.

Bella POV

I was blushing throughout and we went to Roxie locker to take her things and headed home.

"So Bella I helped you get to James by been the class rep assistant" I laughed and hugged her " thank you sis"

" You're welcome so do you have his Facebook name "

"No we didn't talk since the atmosphere was tensed about you been missing and he seem to care so much about you" I said jealously and she laughed "stop the jealousy. He will soon be in love with you. I mean you are beautiful, friendly, intelligent, caring everything a guy needs. Come on. Just be yourself" she smiled and we talked about alot before we departed.

Roxanne POV

Aunt wasn't home she was on day shift so she will be home by 6pm. I helped her out with the chores and cooking. I ate and kept her own in the microwave. I went to my room to do my homework and go through the flyers I'm to share

to the students. It was a contest for two about talent show wow I'll like to dance let me inform Bella if she can dance to so we can sign up for it.

I logged in on my Facebook account and I searched Jane Bella and sent her friend request. I found out she sent her request already I accepted and I sent her message 'Hi'

'Hey babe you took long to accept the request'

' I'm sorry. Had to assist aunt in the chores.'

'okay'

' I'll be sharing some flyers tomorrow. It's about a contest for two and I'll like us to sign up for dancing'

' you are joking I can't dance obviously'

' oh my bad I didn't ask you I'm sorry but I need a dance partner'

' ask James'

' you don't mean it. I'll have to be with my partner throughout the practice week'

' hun...mmm ask Chris'

' hell no I'll look for someone else not him'

' okay' we talked about alot until I fell asleep

Bethany POV

I was back from work and I found out Roxie had done the chores. I ate the food she kept in the microwave and i washed the dish. I went to her room and kiss her goodnight.
