It was a long ride to the airport. on their way, Riley noticed that her face was already on several billboards she was thankful that Aiden got her a wig to disguise herself. they got to that airport. the securities were seriously looking for her. Aiden was very protective of her. he held her hand tightly and told her to act natural " breath ok " he whispered " just focus don't look at their faces " Riley nodded in understanding.

they were able to pass because in the passport Max prepared she was wearing the wig. which made it look like it was her real hair.

sitting in the plane quietly, Riley couldn't stop hoping for the plane to take off. She still held on to Aiden's hand even if both hands were already sweaty and Aiden didn't mind. the plane finally began to move " finally " she whispered

Now they were already in the air. Riley slowly let go of Aiden's hand " sorry " she apologized for making his hand so sweaty while she wiped her's on her jeans

" for what?" he had a confused tone

" mm... your hand is all sweaty because of me "

" I don't remember complaining" he then wiped his hand and offered her " you can hold on a little bit longer if you want " his actions made her smile brightly

" you are funny at times," she said. Aiden only shrugged. there was a strangely comfortable silence between. Riley stared at him as he rests his back with eyes closed and arms crossed like he was about to sleep. but he was fully awake " I know nothing about you. you know that right?" she broke the silence.

Aiden opened his eyes and turned his head to look at her " do you need to know?"

" of course I do. we are friends " her words surprised him a bit

" Really?"

" yeah " she smiled, " tells about yourself "

" I don't have much about myself," he said

" I come on. you can't tell me in the entire" throwing her hands in the air. she suddenly stopped midway " how old her you "

" 19 " his answer was quick

" in the entire 19 years of your life you have nothing to tell, did you fall from heaven and turn 19. every if you fell from heaven, it's a story " she mocked

" I honestly don't have much. I grew up in an organisation where I was trained to fight and use my power. to kill " he said in a low tone

" was it bad? " she had curiosity in her tone.

" Yeah. but don't worry, you are different" he said assuring her that the organisation won't hurt her " I made my first kill when I was 10 " Riley's eyes fell wide open

" 10?" she yelled, calling attention to herself. " am sorry " she apologize to the people " 10 " she whispered

" How did it feel " her question threw him in very deep thought. he flashed back to his first kill and how terrifying it was

" I was scared. I hated myself" he whispered

" I know that feeling" Riley flashed back to her parent's death. even if she wasn't responsible, she remembered the feeling. that terrible feeling.

" I got used to it. I had to " he smiles "And went on my first mission when I was 14. two missions. then when I turned 15 I was sent to you "

" oh " she nodded

" then I realized those two missions were a test. I was trained all those years to protect you "

" so you went through hell because of me?. What makes me so important?" she asked

" you will find out " he replied

there was a long silence between them. she was in deep thought. Riley was being to have a bad feeling about the organisation. but she wanted to go, she wanted to find out who she was and how she got her power. she wanted to know what made her so important to this organisation. she was certain that they wanted her for something good because she trusted Aiden not to hurt her. but why was she suddenly feeling otherwise?

" so about your parents?" she asked breaking the silence

" my parents?" he raised an eyebrow

" Yeah. Max said something about you being rich " he reminded

" oh. my parents are dead," he said reluctantly

" wow. sorry "

" why sorry" he smiled " it's not your fault. I never knew them," he said

" then how do you know they are dead "

" My full name is Aiden Western Hunter. I am the heir to the Hunters " he introduced. Riley's mouth dropped

" you mean the Hunters. like the billionaire Hunters" asking to be certain that she didn't hear him wrongly

" yes "

" oh my God " she covered my mouth in shock " you are their lost son?" Aiden nodded in response " but how come your return wasn't announced "

" I told them not to." he shrugged as he spoke " After max and I became friends I told him I wanted to find my family and he agreed to help me. 6 months later he got back to me. I found out my parents were already dead and my uncle runs the business. I decided to go say hi. at least, I should know who he is "

" was he against you " Riley who should so much interested in the story asked

" no, he didn't. I was surprised by his actions. he said I look a lot like my mother. "

" Mrs Hunter is indeed beautiful. I have seen pictures of her. that explains your good looks" Riley complemented shyly

" What a nice compliment" he smiled at the girl who began to blush " anyway. we wanted me to come back and also he wanted to raise me as his son. because his wife can't have a child but I refused "

" why " she squeezes her forehead in confusion

" I told him I had important things to do. I have to protect you " as he spoke their gaze met. and he couldn't get his eyes off hers. to Aiden, Riley's eyes are the most beautiful thing to stare at

" Are you still in touch with him?" she asked not looking away from him for a second nor did he look away

" Yeah. especially his wife "

" that is fucking cool " with a blink of an eye Aiden's face was so close to hers. her eyes were opened wide due to the sudden closeness. she could feel his breath on her skin and their lips were so close. her heart raced

" your language Riley," his voice was so low, almost like a whisper and it was enough to drive her crazy

" y...you..you did really mean it when you said you would kiss me did you " he smirked

" Just say the word " he whispered this time. with the way he was so close. he looked serious and Riley didn't want to take the risk

" No " she swallowed hard. to be honest Riley wanted Aiden to kiss her. but she didn't want to be the one asking for it " I rather not....." his next move was the most unexpected. his lips met hers.' wait. kiss ' Riley thought to herself 'he is kissing me '. his they were soft and smooth. Riley was immediately sent to heaven with her eyes open while her brain tried to comprehend what was happening. It was a quick kiss, it ended immediately it stated.

Aiden pulled away. rests his back with his eyes closed and arms crossed. pretending like nothing happened while Riley got up and ran to the Restroom to try and get her head straight
